Hoping he plays Penguin but I don’t doubt he can pull off The Riddler.

Dudes got a great track record.

@regularmovieguy - I'd prefer Bill Hader, Nicholas Hoult or LaKeith Stanfield for Riddler tbh.

RageDriver2401 - 9/24/2019, 2:43 AM
@tmp3 - cast Nicholas Hoult and you'll suddenly start seeing Stan accounts popping up for the Riddler all over the place.

@RageDriver2401 - lmao, he's definitely got that "scrawny English boy" look that gets Stan Twitter in a frenzy

@tmp3 - I wouldn't be surprised if I see Instagram accounts dedicated to shipping Hoult Riddler and Battinson.

@regularmovieguy - If he is asking for more than the star, forget him, there are plenty of better actor suited for the role of Penguin or Riddler

@regularmovieguy - I've been saying it for YEARS, if they ever bring back The Penguin, get TIMOTHY SPALL.

@regularmovieguy - I was ALSO the guy that, after the MASSIVE missed opportunity that was Suicide Squad, suggested that Warner Brothers should make low budgeted, R-rated, character study films based around DC villains.
One: Because it's low-budget, it wouldn't be a "world-ending" sort of film. Leave the big-budget, saving the world films to the heroes. Here, there's actually LESS RISK.
Two: They'd actually make interesting films this way because now they can have weird and interesting stories.
Three: They'd be guaranteed a return on investment because these would be KNOWN villians. Much more known than Deadpool.
Four: I even suggested a working title to categorize these films under, I called it "The DCVU" (DC Villian Universe). Though, I like the rumored "DC: Dark" title that Warner Brothers came up with more than my own, actually.

I suggested that, and everyone I told about it, argued with me or just went "meh"! Now, look at The Joker! It's the same idea I had years ago!! It just won The Golden Lion, it WILL make MILLIONS of dollars, and people are genuinely excited for something new!

So to all you people who brushed me away when I suggested this, but now suck Warner Brothers corporate cock sandwich (gargling all over it) for producing what I already PROPOSED all over the internet YEARS AGO, here's what I say to you:

(Also, I'm not saying he did, but I wouldn't be surprised if Todd Phillips saw my posts about the DCVU. I doubt it, but I wouldn't rule it out.)

@JohnnyAssCheeks - Don't pat your self too hard on your back. You might break your arm. Or your back.
JohnnyAssCheeks
JohnnyAssCheeks - 9/24/2019, 2:31 PM
@Ryan - How can I pat myself on the back for something I didn't get credit for? All I'm saying is that before it was official, people didn't take my idea seriously, BUT when a known entity does it, fans kiss their ass.

I think Jonah Hill is a very good actor, but he's messing if he thinks he deserves $10m for this. Joaquin got $4m for Joker, and he's considered one of the best actors of his generation, I don't know why Hill's asking for so much lmao. Probably not gonna be in this movie unless he's willing to take a lower pay cheque, which is incredibly weird considering he just directed an A24 indie so you'd think he'd be fine working for scale.
tmp3
tmp3 - 9/24/2019, 2:38 AM
Shit, he worked for scale for The Wolf of Wall Street lmao

I'm pretty sure for ten million dollars, you could hire 100 actors better than Jonah Hill.

I'm definitely interested in seeing Hill as a villain, whichever one they decide to cast him as, but I don't know if he'll be able to pull it off.

He is certainly a box office draw, but I just dont see him as the riddler
tmp3
tmp3 - 9/24/2019, 2:46 AM
@MalseMarcel - idk. I'd argue the only box office draws working right now are Leonardo DiCaprio and Denzel Washington. Even The Rock can only sell certain projects

Who does he think he is, Terrance Howard?
Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 9/24/2019, 3:17 AM
@inkniron - Is it possible that Howard somehow convinced Marvel to pay him according to some weird Terryology scheme where 1 X 1 = 2?
tmp3
tmp3 - 9/24/2019, 3:19 AM
@Spock0Clock - Hahahaha that 1x1 = 2 shit was wild. He's really gonna retire from acting to teach his Terryology gospel, huh

@Necropolitan - (Open in new tab if it's too small.)

Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 9/24/2019, 4:01 AM
@Necropolitan - According to some reports, Howard has spent years on this, building physical models, and that once people understand how his math works, it will lead to things like perpetual energy or something.

I think I must have read this paper first when I was on painkillers or something, because I remember it making some sense (even if it was wrong), but holy cow, it's straight to blaming the Sky People, isn't it?

Is he really worth that type of money? You could get a no-name who's just as good for more than half the price.

It's a Batman movie. The title sells itself.
