Who is the REAL Hero, Batman or Bruce Wayne?

When I went to the theatre to see this movie I felt like I did the first time I saw Batman Begins, AFRAID!

I did not know what we would be seeing. I was always use to the Tim Burton Batman and the comic book version of Batman. When I walked out of Batman Begins I was speechless. My thought was keep an eye on this Nolan guy. Now after I have seen The Dark Knight Rises I can completely say that we have seen quite possibly the best cinematic story of the decade.

I remember when Bruce Wayne told Alfred in Batman Begins that he wanted Batman to be a symbol. Who would have ever thought that throughout the whole trilogy we see Batman as just that; a symbol? Batman became what he needed to be for the people of Gotham, a vigilante, a criminal, and then a hero. In the end it wasn’t Batman that gave everything that he had for the people of Gotham, It was Bruce Wayne. He ultimately gave up his state of existence so the people of Gotham would survive. Isn’t it ironic how Batman isn’t just a man but a symbol, A LEGEND! IN this trilogy who is the real hero, Batman or Bruce Wayne?
