A trailer for Black Adam is likely to be released during DC FanDome next weekend, but a first look at Dwayne Johnson's title hero has now been revealed thanks to Twitter user @GeekLawGrad.
Well, his costume, anyway.
The actor has been teasing his character's outfit on social media for months, but it looks exactly as we suspected. It's not too different to what Zachary Levi wears as Shazam, and it definitely has quite a bit in common with Superman's DCEU suit (especially in terms of the costume's texture upon closer inspection).
Hawkman's helmet - which will be worn by actor Aldis Hodge - has also surfaced, and it looks every bit as badass as we hoped. A glimpse of his armour can also be seen, and it appears Black Adam is going to stick closely to the comics when it comes to the appearance of these characters on screen.
We're not sure if that vehicle is a Thanagarian ship, but previous set photos have indicated that we'll see a spaceship in the film as part of Hawkman's origin story.
One thing we can say is that there's not much in the way of padding on Black Adam's costume. Johnson has said he didn't need any, so we're guessing the pro wrestler turned Hollywood A-Lister will fill that out nicely given what an incredible, superhero-like physique he has.
