Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Reveals Which Movie He Believes Is The Best They've Made

Marvel Studios has released a lot of different movies since Iron Man hit theaters in 2008 but which of them does Kevin Feige believe was a true game changer and the best they've ever made? Find out here...

Marvel Studios has such an incredible track record, it's hard not to declare every new release the best ever. However, as epic as Avengers: Infinity War was and as fun as Ant-Man and The Wasp will no doubt be, it's hard to escape the feeling that Black Panther will stand out as the year's best superhero movie not only from Marvel but every other studio too. In fact, it may be one of the greatest ever.

That's a sentiment shared by Kevin Feige because he's credited the movie and director Ryan Coogler for making Marvel a better studio. "The experience of making ‘Black Panther,’ even before it came out, was a transformative one," he explained during a recent Q&A. "We’re watching the final playback, where you see the final film and check for any last-minute changes, and when it ended I just instinctually leaned over to Ryan and said, ‘I think this is the best movie we’ve ever made.'"

"We had to make that movie to destroy a myth that Black movies don’t succeed around the world," he added. "Unconscious bias is a real thing." Explaining that working on Black Panther also made him more aware of the need for a greater level of diversity behind the camera, Feige reflected on a production meeting where he noticed that everyone "didn’t look like me, and that was exciting."

What did you think of Black Panther? Is it one of the best Marvel movies ever or a tad overrated?
