2021 has been a good year for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the debut of three Disney+ TV shows, but that big screen experience is coming back next month with Black Widow!

Of course, those of you who aren't ready to return to theaters will be able to watch it from the comfort of home on Disney+'s Premier Access service, but no matter what you decide your optimal viewing experience will be on July 9, this awesome new TV spot is bound to get you excited for what's to come.

As for what's revealed here, we do get a glimpse beneath Taskmaster's helmet - not to learn the villain's identity, but to get an idea of what the skilled fighter sees heading into battle. Needless to say, Natasha Romanoff is going to have her work cut out for her, and this could be one of her hardest fights yet.

The review embargo for Black Widow lifts on Tuesday at 9am PT, so you'll want to check back here for our verdict then. In the meantime, check out a social reaction below along with that TV spot.

"In Marvel Studios' Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises," reads the movie's synopsis. "Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger."

In the movie, Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige; Black Widow - the first big screen story in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - arrives on July 9th both in theaters and on Disney+.

Yup. This confirms the earlier report about Taskmaster’s abilities being from the suit, rather than natural. Not sure how I feel about this- hopefully I’ll have a better perspective on it within the context of the full movie.

@WeaponXCII - I don't like it at all. And I'm bracing myself for some dumb Scooby-Doo reveal since they've played it so coy since the beginning of the ad campaign.

Suit is cool, but the mask is kinda bland. The MCU isn't usually afraid of being wild with their suits/designs anymore, so they should've given Taskmaster a more accurate look.

New adjective needed! Every time a woman does something anywhere in the ball park regarded as action she’s a “badass.” It’s like the word “amazing” on the bachelor. Take a shot each time it’s said.

I too am not super fond of the thought that Taskmasters abilities might be tech based.
Hopefully the tech analysis simply heightens his enhanced ability. Though with the introduction of Echo in the Hawkeye series who also has “photographic reflexes”. a near identical ability. I could see Marvel wanting to create some form of distinction between the two characters. Or maybe she is Tasky. Doubtful.
