The official Marvel India Twitter account has released a 2022 slate claiming that Blade will be released next October, and while that's almost certainly a mistake, it may confirm when it's really coming.

There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding Bassam Tariq's Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali, but in the absence of an official release date announcement, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been left baffled on social media this morning.

The official @Marvel_India Twitter account has shared a 2022 slate that includes the four confirmed titles alongside Blade on October 7. Last month, Marvel Studios delayed the untitled movie given that date to the same day in 2023, so if nothing else, this likely confirms that is when Blade will be released.

Marvel India is no doubt working on outdated information, and had the pandemic not caused so many delays, chances are we'd be set to make five visits to the MCU in theaters next year instead of four.

On the plus side, we are still getting Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and The Marvels alongside a number of Disney+ TV shows including Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel (among several others).

As of right now, Marvel Studios has three untitled movies dated for 2023 and four scheduled for 2024. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are confirmed for 2023.

I think that date is still from before the pandemic and they never bothered to change it. My guess is it will be released on that october 2023 release date though

6 movies in one year! not to mention the TV shows. Ovesaturation is coming, I don't care how "unique" these movies are.

@heyy1 - Nobody says there is an over saturation of comics and yet they release multiple books a week.
The MCU is just reaching a point where they are trying to match the comics in that there is something for everyone and people can just follow the characters and stories they like. Nobody is forcing audiences to watch everything

In a perfect world *sigh*. Aside from No Way Home, nothing is getting me remotely excited for the current slate as much as Blade.
