Marvel May Have Accidentally Revealed That a BLADE Television Series Is In Development

Uh-oh! It seems somebody may have accidentally spilled the beans on an upcoming project that may be happening in the very near future.

Earlier yesterday, Marvel's own Lorraine Cink (who you may recognize from various Marvel red-carpet events, as well as co-host of Marvel's Thwip! show) seemed to accidentally tip that a Blade reboot is happening, in a now-deleted tweet after meeting with one of the newer cast members from this season of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Luckily, our eagle eyed friends at MCU Exchange managed to catch it.

Could this mean a reboot of Blade is on the horizon? Last season Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D debuted a newly-rebooted iteration of Ghost Rider, so it's no stranger to the supernatural. Maybe the plan is to use the ABC show as a platform for a spin-off? Perhaps it could be the long-gestating mystery show from John Ridley? Or this could be the new show being developed for Disney's unnamed streaming service? Some Reddit users have said that there was a second, follow-up tweet about how the actor in question was a fan of Blade, but that tweet appears to be deleted as well, if that is the case. It certainly is quite the curious case. Needless to say, we shall know presumably soon if Blade is coming in 2018, as there would certainly have to be an announcement within the first few months of the new year if it were happening so soon.
