RAF Greenham Common, a former Royal Air Force station in Berkshire, England, has receive a lot of attention of late as filming of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII there. We've previously seen the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing from aerial shots of the airfield, but now, we have pictures and video of costumed characters performing scenes for the film.

Star Wars: Episode VII - Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, David Oyelowow, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. It's being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.

Since John Boyega was apparently there (you hear his name being yelled out) it was likely (though not definitively) first unit photography, which means JJ would have been there, but it was the first AD doing the yelling through the megaphone (as is customary on most big film sets).

It looks like a rebel base. And No green screen is a plus for sure I like it better when they use cgi to enhance the landscape like in ( dont crucify me but you gotta admit the settings were awesome) Prometheus and john carter.
