We got to see Iron Man fight Giant-Man in Captain America: Civil War (War Machine and Spider-Man got in on the action too) but what if Steve Rogers had battled Scott Lang at some point in the threequel? Well, as you can see below, that was indeed the plan in an earlier version of the screenplay and Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has now shared a piece which depicts that epic struggle.

It's fascinating to see artwork like this which was based on an early draft and it's hard not to wonder if Spider-Man's inclusion could have altered Ant-Man's allegiance in the critically acclaimed movie.

Captain America vs. Giant-Man is also a very unique and unexpected sort of battle and one it would have been fun to watch play out on the big screen. However, Hank Pym's feelings towards the Stark family would have made Scott's decision to team up with Tony feel a little odd, don't you think? Lol! Imagine if Team Iron Man had Iron Man, War Machine, Spider-Man, Giant Man, Vision AND Black Panther. That's just too much. I can buy Team Cap holding their own with Scarlet Witch and Giant Man on their side, but remove Giant Man and add to the already stacked team for Team Iron Man.........fugget about it, they made the right choice.

when people quote Star Wars for example, is almost always the banter and character exchange. same applies here.
