Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans & More Talk About The War That's Raging On In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Following the new Captain America: Civil War posters, new interviews have surfaced that gives us Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, and the rest of the cast's thoughts on the upcoming film.

With Marvel's Captain America: Civil War set to hit theaters in two months, Chris Evans in a recent interview with USA Today, spoke on the upcoming film, and revealed what he loves about his character Captain America. "I love when he gets to have conflict. There’s a lot of struggle for him to try and keep whatever sense of family he has." He then spoke more on the Captain's problem, and elaborated on the dilemma his character is facing throughout the film. "It’s boring when a good guy knows how to be a good guy," Evans said. "It’s much more dynamic when a good guy isn’t sure what the good guy move is and has to debate another point of view from someone who may be very close to him."

Speaking of people who's close to the Captain, Anthony Mackie also spoke with USA Today while on the set in Atlanta, as he told why Falcon follows Capt. in the third Captain America film. "He respects and admires Cap because Cap earned his rank as opposed to sitting in an office and just delegating orders." Jeremy Renner (who plays Hawkeye in the film) also chimed in and told why he stands by the Captain's side. "Cap was the first guy who called. Let’s just get the job done so I can get home to the family."  Funny you mention family Renner, Elizabeth Olsen who plays Scarlet Witch in the film, revealed that her character is "figuring out her place and finding a family," however, "she does have a few changes of points of view in this film."

Finally, Sebastian Stan (who plays the Winter Soldier), revealed his take on the upcoming film, stating that "Cap is his only shot at survival."  He then added, "It’s not like everyone’s high-fiving before going to war. There are still tensions." Chris Evans then chimed back in and revealed the following. "Nobody’s wrong here. No one’s promoting evil. No one’s the bad guy. We just have different ways of being the good guy and that can get fiery."

Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Vision (Paul Bettany),

Switching gears now to Team Iron Man! Robert Downey Jr. spoke with USA Today, and provided an update as to where Stark's head is going into Captain America: Civil War. "People are much less capable of processing things than they think and we’re kind of simple and dumb. And for a guy who is fast, he’s definitely on the verge of practically getting over himself." He then added, "I almost feel like sometimes he’s some (old man) who goes back to the neighborhood and goes, ‘Kids, it doesn’t have to be like this.’"

At the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, James Rhodes a.k.a. War Machine a.k.a. the Iron Patriot was seen siding with Team Captain America, along with the Vision. However, in "Civil War" he's standing by his best friend on Team Iron Man. Don Cheadle spoke on that, and revealed what his hero is thinking. "Obviously, I can’t do anything that violates my oath but at the same time we’re dealing with things that haven’t ever been in the playbook." Paul Bettany (who plays the Vision), shared his thoughts and revealed the Vision's standpoint on all of this. "The stronger you are, the more you invite challenge. Something has to rise to fill the vacuum."

What is Black Widow thinking, considering the fact that she sided with Captain America all throughout  the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Well, according to Scarlett Johansson, even though  Widow has love for Steve, she has to agree with Stark's standpoint. "Either we’re going to fight it and  lose or we’re going to go with it and make it work. Regimes come and go but we have to pat the  backs this time and shake hands and play nice."

Last but not least, Chadwick Boseman spoke on Captain America: Civil War, and revealed that even  though you see Black Panther on Iron Man's side, he's still his own person. "He’s definitely his own  guy. There’s no ‘I’m going to do whatever you say because you’re the leader of this team.’ That’s not  who he is. But I would say that’s also true of other characters." Boseman then added, "Regardless of  whose argument is what, communication is about really being able to fully see the other person’s  point of view. I fully see Cap’s point of view — I don’t know if Tony does." That's some pretty  interesting thoughts coming from Boseman. It really makes you wonder about the things to come  when the film hits theathers. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
