Samuel L. Jackson Isn't Happy About Nick Fury's Exclusion From CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

There was no sign of former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury in Captain America: Civil War and Glass star Samuel L. Jackson is still unhappy about it! Find his comments on that after the jump...

Samuel L. Jackson is one of Hollywood's most prolific actors and his role as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe obviously stands out as quite possibly his best. However, he's been notable from his absence from a number of movies, including Captain America: Civil War

Fury not making an appearance in the movie didn't make a whole lot of sense given his history with Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Glass star has now expressed his disappointment about not being asked to return as the former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director in that massive ensemble.

"There's lots of stuff you can do with him. But has he been used wisely? Yeah, except for things like Civil War. It's like, if all the Avengers are f**king fighting each other, where is their guardian? Where's that dude who comes in and goes, 'Alright, everybody go to your room. I'll be in there to talk to you in a minute.' Either he's the guy that brought them together and he's the glue, or he's not. I felt a little- I felt a way about that."

We saw very little of Fury in Avengers: Infinity War and there's no word on whether he'll have a significant role in Avengers: Endgame. For what it's worth, Jackson claims he hasn't read a script for that. "Not Avengers: Endgame, no. I generally read the scripts I’m in," he teased. "I don’t just go to my part [laughs]." There is a chance he's misleading us, of course, but we'll have to wait and see.

Do you think Fury should have been included in Captain America: Civil War? Sound off below.
