And to think... (Supposedly) It was actually Sony's idea to bring on Tom Holland. Apparently Marvel wanted Charlie Plummer, but Sony put their foot down and insisted on Holland.

Good on you, Sony. Keep making good headphones and Spider-Man movies.

@KWilly - I think it was between Holland and Charlie Rowe, those were the rumors at the time a few days before the casting of Holland and Rowe shared a Tweet congratulating Holland and saying he would have been a pretty awesome Spiderman. Who knows.

@Doomsday8888 - it's quite pathetic really. All for the ad revenue. This, and the pointless incel cosplay photos josh has been posting show how much this site is starting to fail.

what a surprise, an article which was already posted a few days ago, re-posted for clicks and ad revenue. This site it going down the drain, just like SHH did. Time to find somewhere new.

As much as he did probably audition with RDJ, and the other Avengers - does anyone else find Holland’s stories a little... exaggerated?

@Se4M4NSt4ine - For me, yes. I thought Homecoming was a great intro, as they hinted at a lot of classic Spidey elements that were done in old films (Uncle Ben, his lack of money, etc). I assumed they’d tackle those issues later, but...

Far From Home completely dropped all of that. Hell, it even dropped plot points from Homecoming that were explicitly set up (Aunt May, Peter not wanting to be an Avenger, etc.) I don’t trust these guys at all when it comes to Spidey
