I haven't seen the joker yet, but other than Cassie Lang and Talos I kinda agree with this list.

Ant-Man has his own movie to explore Cassie. If Cassie was a disappointment then so was Morgan Stark.the movie wasn't for her.

Talos was one of the best parts of Captain marvel and secret invasion is still on the way.

Supreme intelligence was a disappointment but she still had one of the best sequences in a comic book movie this year in my opinion

Joker was a waste of time. Joker in name only. Most overrated movie I’ve seen since Avatar.

@zachman2013 - I thought Joker was stylish and very well acted but it had nothing to do with the Joker from the comics. Change his moniker and the names of Thomas and Bruce Wayne and you'd never know it had anything to do with the classic Batman villain.

Hulk and literally every character in Hellboy.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - I dont think Dark Horse comic characters xoubt for this list. (I'm like 70% sure Hellvoy is Dark Horse so dont quite me).

@MrCamw1 - My bad, it's "Marvel And DC" superhero movies only.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - that said I agree with you that's the one movie I keep forgetting came out this year cbm wise.

I would not call Nick Firy in Far From Home a crushing disappointment...or Thanos of all people. Also I could name a good chunk of Dark Phoenix characters being disappointing and be done with it.
Origame
Origame - 11/26/2019, 9:54 AM
@MrCamw1 - he was specifically the thanos in endgame. And you either have the genuinely great one who died in the first few minutes or the one who just threw away his entire motivation in favor of the "kill everyone and remake the universe in my image" bs we've seen 1000x already.
MrCamw1
MrCamw1 - 11/26/2019, 9:55 AM
@Origame - I get that character wise but as a threat he was still enjoyable. Also Josh keeps saying Infinity War which is confusing if were saying that's peak Thanos.
Origame
Origame - 11/26/2019, 11:59 AM
@MrCamw1 - its easy to make someone a threat though.

MrCamw1 - 11/26/2019, 12:01 PM
@Origame - but interesting enough to enjoy unlike Apocalypse.
Origame
Origame - 11/26/2019, 2:04 PM
@MrCamw1 - but hes not interesting now. Hes the same character as 1000 other villains.

@Origame - I disagree but to each there own.

Well, of the films that I did see, I disagree with your take 100%. But then I have the ability to go to a film and not take a huge amount of baggage over what I imagine the movie “should be” in with me.

The whole Skrull race was a wasted opportunity.
LongMayHeReign

Talos a disappointment?

He's widely regarded as one of if not the best character of that film. Sorry they didn't stick with obvious shape shifters are the bad guys route you all crave.
Origame
Origame - 11/26/2019, 9:59 AM
@LongMayHeReign - didn't you want secret invasion? Considering secret invasion was the one topic everyone was talking about when skrulls were mentioned, and both movies have been showing us skrulls as the kind of characters who wouldn't do something like that, id say thats enough to be disappointed.
MyCoolYoung
MyCoolYoung - 11/26/2019, 10:05 AM
@Origame - yet Feige has pointed out that there are good skrulls and bad skrulls and we've only seen the good ones.
LongMayHeReign
LongMayHeReign - 11/26/2019, 10:36 AM
@Origame - Secret Invasion is still VERY possible, just because I meet a few people from a certain race that are friendly and non threatening doesn't mean they all are. For you to consistently assume that because Talos and his small group of Skrulls are good that it must mean ALL Skrulls are good shows just how narrow minded you are. Especially when like @MyCoolYoung said, Feige made note thate there are good AND BAD Skrulls out there.
