Cool to hear about Secret Invasion and the Supreme Intelligence. Also, that scene Jude Law described sounds intense.

My candidates for a Skrull are: Maria Hill, Sharon, Everett, and Thunderbolt.

@MCUKnight11 - Garry Shandling... double agent

@MCUKnight11 - whoa, what happens if it was Thunderbolt Ross who has the secret role in this film, and he is indeed a Skrull. Which would explain his hatred for powered individuals. Plus, he is at a high level in the government.

I like the idea!!

@HeavyMetal4Life - Thanks. Also, a recast means we could get Red Hulk.

@MCUKnight11 - but wouldn't the real Thunderbolt Ross look the same?

@JonC - That would be great except Shandling died 3 years ago...

@HeavyMetal4Life - Good point. Didn't think of it.

@L0RDbuckethead - So did Peter Cushing a.k.a. General Tarkin and he got "better" in time for the movie.

I hope they continously tease fury losing an eye like the guy in hot tub time machine that would be hilarious

@MyCoolYoung - Dude I would love this haha.

Like if multiple times throughout the film some kind of object goes flying towards Fury's face, and the audience is like "here it comes" only for the object to narrowly miss his eye.

That would be fantastic lol

@CorndogBurglar - I knew I couldn't be the only one who would want this lol could be one of the best parts of doing a prequel. Just playing around with the inevitable and people's expectations.

@MyCoolYoung - He still has both eyes on the pic shown on Winter Soldier where he is older than he is in Captain Marvel:

Curious to see now the Supreme Intelligence.

Nice set visit.

@NinnesMBC - Has to be Annette Bening
TheGrayGhost
TheGrayGhost - 1/8/2019, 12:17 PM
@TheOscarPanther - Yep she will be the form in which Danvers will perceive her. Hope we end up seeing true form though.

@TheGrayGhost - Vers this isn't even my final form

dmac3232
dmac3232 - 1/8/2019, 1:02 PM
@TheGrayGhost - Yeah, it's got to be a Wizard of Oz reveal or they've blown a huge opportunity. Given how secretive they've been, and Benning's comments about how her character has a twist, I'm pretty confident this is how it's going to go down.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 1/8/2019, 1:16 PM
@TheGrayGhost - I hope it isn't just how Danvers perceives her.

I hope Bening is like The Supreme Intelligence's avatar. Like either a fake body or it takes over Bening's mind so that it can walk among society and have more direct control over things.

All of that is fine as long as we learn that the Supreme Intelligence is actually a giant head in a jar hidden away somewhere.
L0RDbuckethead
L0RDbuckethead - 1/8/2019, 1:37 PM
@CorndogBurglar - I bet they'll handle it kinda similar to how they handled Ego in GotG2 in his "Kurt Russell" and "planet" forms.

I hope we get to see the SI's giant form and not just Annette Benning.
TheGrayGhost
TheGrayGhost - 1/10/2019, 12:22 PM
@CorndogBurglar @dmac3232 - I think SI will take different avatar forms where each person will see it in their own way in their mind when being "simmed" or whatever. Only certain Kree will have access to seeing SI's true form, making for a Wizard of Oz type reveal like dmac was stating ("Please ignore the green face within the giant jar!"). Could be another way for them to show that the Kree are not as noble as they project themselves to be earlier in the movie, since they are manipulating their own people in a way.
aflynn
aflynn - 1/8/2019, 11:55 AM
"My character is somewhat judgmental and full of hatred of the Skrulls," Law reveals. "The Skrulls to the Krees really represent despicable manoeuvring and manipulation. The Skrulls have this way – they can simulate other people, they can turn into other things, and so it’s this idea of subterfuge that you’re not who you really are, whereas the Kree have a kind of purity about them."

Yup KREE are gonna be full of shit holier than tho warriors who do the same exact things that they blame the skrulls of doing except shapeshift including manipulating and extorting others including Carol.

He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster.
