Kinda wish the film embraced the more hardcore sci-fi elements of the comics. Hopefully the new director takes that kind of approach with the sequel.

I go either way on this.

I think the more comic accurate, the more bombastic, the better, so this would have fit in well from a visual perspective because Captain Marvel already gets into some weird and quirky stuff already

On the other hand, I think using this as a "reveal" probably only works best in a film that was willing to dedicate sufficient time to Kree culture and Kree characters in general (something CM unfortunately only does minimally). If they aren't going to make us spend time in Hala with the people and here their thoughts on the intelligence, there's not much value in revealing the recently-revealed-to-be-deceptive character is ALSO a gigantic head in the same film. Like many things in CM, the full value of their adaptation of these things will be partially tied to what they do with it in a sequel. I also think if they were going to go this route, they needed to use the scene in Yon Rogg's conversation as well, just so the big head reveal show that this is something being hidden from everyone.

No wonder they fired Boden and Fleck. This should have been in the movie, not that desiccated corpse of a banshee we got

@newhire13 - Ah yes, in the same universe of a talking racoon, talking tree, dog in a space suit, dorammnu. That would have been ridiculous. The idiots on this site.

@newhire13 - Really? because from the amount of emojis you sound like a 11 year old. At best. Pathetic.

I'm a part of the people who thought they should've had the Supreme intelligence in the film, but to act like Annette Benning wasn't good in the role or that the true kree nature reveal scene wasn't a great scene is a weird hill to die on.

@EmpressCipher - I mean her and Carol talking. I thought that part was truly great. I was always drawn to the tension in that scene. It's just soon after that Carol went extra op and everything else was out the window

@TheJustinHammer - your tech wasn't good in the role justo

@EmpressCipher - Peter and Toomes is another one. Fair enough, I'll watch the movie again to see. I never really got that first few times around.

@TheJustinHammer - yes in theory but you forgot the part where it would just fizzle out and not work.
