I am still hoping he is Mar-Vell in disguise

@MalseMarcel - I'm betting he's an amalgam of the two character to fit the MCU story.

So the Skrulls are after something ... Earth + Shield = Tesseract?

@SimpleJack - would tie in nicely with Fury’s line about why they use the Tesseract to built weapons in The Avengers. Maybe he doesn’t mean just Thor, but any extraterrestial threat

@MalseMarcel - That's what I was thinking, but maybe it's a too convenient theory. The more I think on it, it feels like it would be the easy story, narratively. Maybe they know Carol is from Earth and assume the source of her power is there. I dunno, lol. Guess we'll find out soon and I'm OK with not knowing till then!

@SimpleJack - I think they just want it for their own gain. And isn't the device in her head the source of her powers (the article says: ''Apparently, Vers has a small Photon Battery implanted under her left ear, which was a gift from the Supreme Intelligence and the source of her powers'')

@MalseMarcel - but if that was the case they'd have built the weapons before Thor came.

He specifically said it was Thor's arrival that made them realize how outgunned they were.

@MyCoolYoung - Well if I remember correctly Fury only said that they built the weapons ''because of him''. Thor wasn't really a threat, but Loki was and so maybe it could be interpreted as Fury talking about aliens in general.

I would agree that it is mildly convenient that they were just working on the weapons shortly after Thor and Loki arrived on earth

It's weird that marvel was so secretive with Jude law and Annettes identity then release official featurettes revealing their identity a week before release

I'm pretty sure we have had fewer presidents than articles regarding who Jude Law is playing.

Kind of weird how after 8 months of no MCU movies, we're gonna get two of them so close to each other. I'm so hyped for Endgame, that I sometimes fail to remember that another movie comes right before it.
Hoping it delivers! Really excited for the Skrulls, and all they could be to the future of the MCU.
