Hot on the heels of those Captain Marvel set photos from earlier this week, a new batch has surfaced online with our first look at Samuel L. Jackson onset as a much different version of Nick Fury than we've become accustomed to over the past ten years.

He was spotted with a hairpiece and both of his eyes discussing what looks-to-be a very important mission with Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who is still sporting her Kree battle suit, which likely suggests that this scene takes place sometime early in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster.

Check out all the new pics at the link below:

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain Marvel features:
Directors: Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck
Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
Jude Law as Mar-Vell/Walter Lawson
Ben Mendelsohn in an undisclosed role
Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer
Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser
Lashana Lynch in an undisclosed role
Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva
Algenis Perez Soto in an undisclosed role
Rune Temte in an undisclosed role
McKenna Grace in an undisclosed role
Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson
Robert Kazinsky in an undisclosed role

Captain Marvel flies into theaters March 8

@HeavyMetal4Life - Or just hire McKenzie Astin. (It's hard to find pictures of him without blood pouring out of his mouth with demon eyes, but...) watching him in the Magicians is like seeing Coulson: the Younger Years. Even the voice and mannerisms.

I mean, I like de-aging as much as the next guy, but when you've got a dead ringer...
