Before signing up to play Captain Marvel, Brie Larson was mostly known for lower budget movies like Short Term 12 and Room. The latter nabbed her a number of awards including "Best Actress" at the Oscars and Larson joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe came as an unexpected surprise. However, she's not going to be one and done because the actress has signed a seven-picture deal with Marvel.

That leaves her with five movies to star in after Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 are released and it's now clear that she's going to be the new face of the MCU moving forward. Larson will be paid $5 million for the former and it's said that this deal locks the actress into "multiple franchises." What those will be is pretty obvious but it sounds like we can expect to see her all over the place in Phase 4.

It's going to be a lot of fun seeing what Captain Marvel's place in this shared world will be with a number of A-List heroes no doubt signing off after Avengers 4 and her leading Earth's Mightiest Heroes alongside Black Panther would be downright awesome. What do you guys think? Sound off below.
