Wish the trailer felt like more of a first "trailer" than a "teaser", but Nick Fury, Coulson, and captain marvel untold secrets have me intrigued.

@Batmanfailedme - No worries we've got a ways to go, and what we have seen makes me hype for Star Force, and the opening Act

That costume is a little bit overdesigned tbh. It looks ok. But it would look better without all those lines.

Can anyone deny that she doesn't look great?

@guyatadesk - When I re-read my comment I got really confused and realized that something might be off. I'm still not sure, but I also am that the writing must be off. I botched that and now I'm lost.

@guyatadesk - I do beg pardon if Brie Larson makes me feel a bit light in the head. I occasionally lose myself when I see her. She is Marvelous after all.

Have you ever seen a little girl run so fast she falls down? There’s an instant, a fraction of a second before the world catches hold of her again… A moment when she’s outrun every doubt and fear she’s ever had about herself and she flies. In that one moment, every little girl flies.

@MadMallo - It looks like nothing like that. Are you guys so salty that you straight up manufacture shit that falls apart after 3 seconds?

At least some effort in it.

Somewhat offtopic: i just watched Avengers 2 and Ant-Man, and now I'm currently rewatching Civil War. The people who say the MCU films are all the same really have no idea what they're talking about. Going from Avengers 2 to Civil War's Iron Man, it's amazing how much they respect the consistency in the characterization but are able to really show these character's in entirely different lights. The VERY first scene of Tony in Civil War just hits you hard with the emotional realism that has now become a staple of the Russos.

Another thing I noticed, in every single MCU film, there are just these amazing hero moments in each film. No matter how funny, how action packed, how "cool" these films are, they really do encompass flawed characters that encompass a wonderful hero's journey that feels authentic. Look at Ant-Man for example. They turn a group of criminals into people who are just in bad habits and fell into a bad life, but in the end they're good people at heart, and they all have a moment where they risk something so Scott can pull of the heist. It's amazing that Feige and all the other creatives at Marvel understand you always need emphasis on the hero part of superheroes.

Lastly, watching all these films back to back knowing what they accomplished in their next films and especially the payoff with Infinity war, it's such a rewarding experience, and it's truly amazing how they did this while making up the movies on the spot almost. No one knew what Panther would look like when Age of ultron was being made, no one knew what was going to happen in Homecoming yet when they were writing Civil War. I truly applaud everyone involved, and I can't wait to see Captain Marvel not only take us one step closer to the hopefully amazing finale in Avengers 4, but be introduced to a unique origin with a wonderful character that will add even more nuance to the MCU as a whole.

@ScarletWarlock - Yup! The Avengers movies are simply, good story telling. They're great movies. The magic formula isn't magic folks. It's science. Quality trumps laziness everytime

The antithesis between news and movies regarding the MCU and everyone else (Sony,WB, Fox) is pretty glaring.

It's like living in Seychelles watching the sunset versus living in Detroit in the middle of a tornado.
