I absolutely love how much development each character is getting.

Here’s hoping whatever the plot is surrounding their fall out, it at least has some solid weight to it - and isn’t just another let down like Goose infecting Fury’s eye for being the reason he wears the eye patch...

I'm a little torn on Monica in Wandavision. It feels a little convenient that she gets powers like that, but it's also entirely consistent with how many characters got superpowers in the comics. Marvel's Bronze Age is utterly full of "person gets exposed to a mysterious beam or field and now they've got powers". Not everyone gets a thematically powerful origin that's about themselves.

I guess it's just bittersweet to see how much the MCU has now embraced comic logic. Rather than falling all over themselves with post-credit teases to explain how a person gets juiced, it just happens and it's kind of no big deal. We're a long way from Iron Man's grounded vibe.

Parris is good, though. She's doing everything she can in a series that is ultimately not all that interested in her, and I've got high hopes for Captain Marvel 2: The Three Amarveligos.

I really feel like theres a conflict building to a conflict with the two, not like a fight but Monica seems to have beef with Carol. Either shes upset that Carol didnt come back for her mom or (and this is my theory) Carol may have been the cause of Maria's cancer. They might say she irradiates people bc its seems almost like Monica knew something was off about her scans even before her powers were revealed and wanted to brush by it, and then looked visibly upset when she heard Carol referenced

Really liking Monica so far. Hope the sequel is better cause tbh the first movie wasn't that good for me

This...is just how movies work. Literally the whole point of having main characters in a story is exploring their relationships together. This is why you shouldn't just take one point from an interview and make a whole article out of it (besides clickbait of course).
