Malaysian actress Raja Ilya probably won't be too familiar to many people outside of her home Country, but that may be about to change in 2018.

While speaking to Star2 to promote her latest movie, Soulmate Hingga Jannah, Ilya let slip that she'll be appearing in an upcoming Marvel Studios project. Though she didn't provide many details, Ilya said she'd be flying to Hollywood in "about six months" after first undergoing extensive martial arts traing with none other than The Raid and Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Yayan Ruhian.

Though this is just a guess, the time-frame definitely points to the movie being Captain Marvel, as that will most likely be commencing production towards the end of the year or very early in 2018. Whatever the project turns out to be, Ilya probably won't have a substantial role in it - however, the fact that she's training so hard does suggest that her character will be involved in a few action scenes at the very least.

What do you guys make of this? Do you think the film is Captain Marvel? Sound off below.
