After previously being rumored to co-star in Captain Marvel, Deadline Hollywood has confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury will indeed appear.  This will reunite Jackson and Brie Larson after the pair previously worked together on Kong: Skull Island.  In addition, Jackson is also slated to appear in Larson's directorial debut, Unicorn Store.

The rumor first surfaced several days ago via Omega Underground founder, Christopher Marc.

It seems Marvel will be looking to continue a trend started with Joe and Anthony Russo as another directing pair, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Half Nelson) will be co-piloting Marvel Studios' first female superhero film, which is currently slated for release on March 8, 2019.
