The Green Lantern Corps is set to meet the most dangerous species in the universe in 2017. BOOM! Studios and DC Comics have just announced the epic crossover event, Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern.

DC Comics and BOOM! Studios have just announced that they will be teaming up to bring about a crossover event that will unite DC's Green Lanterns with with the Planet of the Apes for a six-issue miniseries. The comic's release date is set for some time around February of 2017.

So far, all other details of the crossover and 
the creative team helming the miniseries are being kept secret, but with this year's New York Comic-Con just right around the corner, we'll probably be recieving some news as to which members of the Green Lantern Corps will find themselves dealing with talking apes.
