Breaking news this morning as Kevin Smith, shared on his twitter account that he suffered a massive heart attack. 

I'm sure that everyone will agree with me in wishing Smith the best and a swift recovery.

His dad had heart issues and mom isn't in the best shape either. Add in his 40+ years of eating unhealthy and smoking and it was bound to happen. Someone give him a J and some beets.

Sorry about the poor quality of the "article" gang - I don't really post on CBM but I noticed the story wasn't up and felt it needed to be shared. In work so couldn't really put much together.

It's never nice when a member of the comic community falls ill and Kevin seems like a legit nice guy. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

shew, I'm so glad hes gonna be ok. I know a lot of people have said he quit smoking and lost weight. but exercise can help out a lot too. and watch your food intake. even if its healthy looking it could still have tons of saturated and trans fat that can block your arteries up. I'm studying Nutrition and have learned a lot about my own diet. I thought i was eating healthy but not only was I eating too much of the wrong type of things, I wasn't eating enough nutrients for my body to function at full efficiency.
