COMICS: Deadpool Loses His Healing Powers And Gets A Drastic New Look
Deadpool has not only lost his healing factor, but also his trademark scars! Hit the jump for details about this latest development as well as a couple of images of the now handsome Merc With A Mouth.
In Deadpool #54, the Merc With A Mouth revealed a brand new look which is sure to upset longtime fans of the character. You see, Wade Wilson is now...handsome! After being injected with a serum which negated his healing powers and made him mortal, the final instalment of "Dead" reveals that the assassin has also been cured of the cancer which left him hideously scarred. Here's a scan from the issue (courtesy of Fangirling Daily) that reveals a new appearance which is sure to have a huge impact on the future of the character.
And over in Uncanny X-Force, Wade can also be seen sporting this new look which it could be argued is a little Ryan Reynolds-ish (an indication that he won't be scarred in the planned big screen adaptation perhaps?). Check it out below and be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.
