After the past few years of cosmic scale event books like
Avengers Vs. X-Men
, the first Marvel event of 2014 will be scaling things back a little and focusing on a murder mystery. Who killed The Watcher?
will run for eight issues over four months, with a number of spin-off's and tie-in's. Former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury assembles a team consisting of Captain America, Iron Man and Thor to name but a few, while The Punisher, Doctor Strange, Emma Frost, Ant-Man and Black Panther conduct their own investigation. The Watcher has obviously seen a lot over the years, and whoever killed him took that information! The series will kick off in April with Mark Waid and Jim Cheung's
