Okay, first off, congratulations to BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES which won best Comic Book TV Show ever, defeating Daredevil by only 3 votes (22-19). Noting that Daredevil looked the goods early on, but Batman came home strong.

Now, let's have a go at determining the best comic book movie actor that has graced our screens.

There's THOUSANDS of Actors that qualify. So I had to narrow the field when selecting 120 Actors.
 - Only Marvel/DC films (but others can still win)
 - I picked 4 actors from each film (but no repeats), which turned out to be 328 Actors!
 - I narrowed that list to 120, based on my critic performance, significance and number of films they've been in
 - I seeded a Top 16 based on an article that rated the best 50 performances ever (this one). I randomised the draw after that (except for the 16 seeded actors).
 - I've left four wild card options open (For any actor from any CBM - not just Marvel/DC actors). I've no doubt missed some actors that people think I should have left in, so based on nominations from you guys, I'll pick the 4 best of those to play in Round 2.

So, if you are keen, let's play!

The Battle

Pick one actor from each battle based on COMIC BOOK performances only (can include CBs outside Marvel/DC also). So no other works, just the comic book movies they were in. Just copy and paste in the comments, and feel free to leave blank if you don't want to/can't choose. The winning actor goes through to the next round, and the losing actor is eliminated.

PLUS if you feel I've missed an actor that should be in it (From any comic book movie, not just Marvel/DC), NOMINATE them in the comments, and if they are among the 4 actors with the most nominations, I'll add them in as Wild Cards in the 2nd round.

Some interesting battles this week (remember this was random except for the 16 seeds) including:
 - Green Goblin v Hit Girl
 - Superman v Professor X
 - Ra's Al Ghul v Blade
 - Lex Luthor v Superman! Tough Round 1
 - Scarlet Witch v Hulk (which we've already seen)
 - Spider-Man v Hulk

But the MATCH OF THE ROUND has to be Deadpool v Black Widow, a brutal first round match up, between two actors that use to be married. I swear, this was random.

Copy and Paste into comments, and pick the winner
