NXT held its TakeOver: Toronto II PPV event this past Saturday, which was followed by WWE's SummerSlam last night. As is often the case, several Superstars took the opportunity to pay tribute to their favorite pop culture characters with their custom ring-gear.

Representing Marvel, Johnny Gargano donned some unmistakable Wolverine clobber for his 2-out-of-3-falls NXT Championship match with Adam Cole. Then, Alexa Bliss channeled her inner Buzz Lightyear for her Women's Tag-Team Championship match on the SummerSlam kickoff show. Later on in the night, Ricochet debuted some awesome Nightwing gear for his US Title match with AJ Styles.
