Titan Comics Previews Their Upcoming Release HAWKMOON: THE HISTORY OF THE RUNESTAFF VOLUME 2

The conclusion to the legendary Hawkmoon Chronicles is being published for the first time with Titan Comics' upcoming release of The Chronicles of Hawkmoon: The History of Runestaff Volume 2. Check it out!

Exciting news from publisher Titan Comics as they have announced that next week they will be printing the conclusion to the Hawkmoon Chronicles for the first time next week.

From The Michael Moorcock Library, the final chapter in The Chronicles of Hawkmoon comes The History of the Runestaff Volume 2. The story was penned by Moorcock as the name suggests, but acclaimed writer and artist James Cawthorn has adapted it as a part of The James Cawthorn Collection. This saga has been in the making for four decades and now readers are finally able to experience the grand conclusion to the story from Moorcock and Cawthorn.

The Chronicles of Hawkmoon: The History of the Runestaff Volume 2 and its creative team have admirers with big names in the world of comic books, with Neil Gaiman (Sandman, American Gods) quoted as saying it is "an absolute triumph. I just want to revel in it." Meanwhile, Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta) backs the talent by saying "I've been an admirer of Jim Cawthorn's art for pretty much my whole life."

The book releases on Wednesday, February 4th and thanks to the good folks over at Titan, you can get a preview of the cover art as well as several of the interior pages below. We've also included the synopsis for the book at the bottom, so take a look and let us know if you think this is one you'll be looking to add to your collection!

Set in a post-apocalyptic world where sorcery and science live side by side, the Dark Empire of Granbretan, formerly Great Britain, has risen from the ashes of nuclear Armageddon to become the mightiest empire the world has ever known. Now under the despotic rule of the immortal King-Emperor Huon, the empire is expanding its diabolical reach across what was once Europe.

Against the backdrop of political intrigue, arcane magic, flying machines and high adventure, one man, Dorian Hawkmoon, the Duke of Koln, continues his fight to stop Huon's evil once and for all.

The Michael Moorcock Library: The Chronicles of Hawkmoon: The History of the Runestaff Volume 2 hits shelves Wednesday, February 4th with a price tag of $39.99.
