When you compare it to Civil War it looks like The Avengers are the Tony Stark and X-Men Captain America.

I like the X-Men but their comics are usually always about racism, ya know mutants this and mutants that: ya know always fighting a lot of the battles they fight for mutant opression and only get involved in big battles when needed. The Avengers just protect everyone no matter what! So My Vote is for the Avengers!! Avengers Assemble!!!!

If Magneto is fighting for the X-Men then the Avengers are screwed other than Hulk and maybe Thor if his Hammer is not effected by his power.

SUPERBATSPIDERMAN, I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote Magneto as incredibly weak because he's a "good guy" now. That always happens in comics. Once a villain turns good, he or she gets beat up all the time. My prediction is that Iron Man will have all these anti-magnetic fields on his armor to counterbalance Magneto's abilities because... he's the mighty Iron Man.

The X-Men are going to win. I want the Avengers to win, though, because the X-Men have become really overpowered as of late. Three of the last four major storylines in the X-Men involve X-Men versus heroes (Second Coming, Schism and now AvX). Basically, there aren't any villains powerful enough to stop them, especially with Magneto and Namor on Cyclops' team.

But you have overpowered Cylops, overpowered Colossus, overpowered Wolverine (who apparently can now heal himself without actually having any tissue to regenerate from), overpowered Rogue then Omega level mutants Magneto, Hope, Rachel Summers and Iceman.

They need to kill off Rulk and Spider-Woman, return Banner back into Hulk's conscious so that he is merely suggestive and not the primary conciousness of Hulk (and not at the power level of Savage Hulk), and return the Avengers to their more traditional lineup, including bringing T'Challa back.

I'll root for The Avengers. Now hat i would really like to see is a Secret Avengers/ Uncanny X-Force crossover. Rick Remender is writing both books, so it should happen. The issues of each comic could either overlap into each other or a separate book could be written.
