COMICS: Scott Lobdell Joins "THE DC BAND-AID"; Official Reveal Coming At SDCC '14

Bleeding Cool is back with more on DC Comics' mysterious "Band-Aid" project, reporting that Scott Lobdell (Superman, Teen Titans) is working on a weekly title that "will run through" the event. Hit the jump for more!

It's been a little while since we heard anything on DC's April 2015 project, dubbed "The DC Comics Band-Aid" by Bleeding Cool. Well, they have now reported that writer Scott Lobdell (New 52's Teen Titans, Red Hood and the Outlaws and Superman: Doomed) will work on a weekly book that will tie-in with the twenty two-part stories DC will publish. The event - initially dubbed Crisis 2015 here on CBM - is "believed to feature many different versions of familiar characters, from Elseworlds, before various continuity fixes, including the New 52, squaring off against each other." Though Lobdell's recent DC work has been criticised, he has worked on acclaimed stories such as Generation X and Age of Apocalypse. Bleeding Cool expects that the "Band-Aid" will be "ripped off at San Diego Comic-Con." Until then, stay tuned.
