I am sure this movie is still in good hands!

@JoeMomma29 - a new director, composer might actually help this project. Deadpool is always fresh and unexpected, id actually like to see a new director and team take the third film also and have a unique, exciting trilogy

He also did the soundtrack for Samurai Jack Season 5. That soundtrack was pretty good.

Does that mean 75% of the score going to be 80s hits remixed edition?

Love his John Wick score. That theme in particular. Plus, the score for the first Guardians is one of the rare memorable MCU scores. The main Guardians theme and Groot’s theme being the standouts.

@DTor91 - I need to rematch that movie. Really liked it, but I really don't remember the score. I'm sure he'll do just fine though.

@MrDandy - Yeah it didn’t really stick with me until after watching it a couple times. But those two themes pop up several times in the most important moments.

Unpopular Opinion Time:

Junkie XL scores aren't all that.

@solargeknowles - I've only enjoyed his MAD MAX work

@solargeknowles - His Mad Max is the most memorable one for me. Apart from that, I've found that his music is good-great DURING the movie, but not very memorable afterwards

@BlackBeltJones -

His style worked for Fury Road, and a bit less for Deadpool. His theme for Diana is pure hype, catchy, but not as "epic" as many like to make it out to be.

It's just repeatitive and easily memorable, and I'm glad he's being replaced, both in this and in JL.

@OedipusGrex - True it is repetitive

@solargeknowles - Brothers in Arms is a great track from one of my favourite scores! But Junkie XL has been hit and miss.

I love his work on the Guardians' films, and - ... he's working on The Punisher too?!

Great news!
