Still no sign of Josh Brolin as Cable, unfortunately, but this latest batch of Deadpool 2 set snaps do give us a glimpse of Ryan Reynolds in full costume as The Merc with a Mouth.

We don't have any details on what the scene being filmed entails, but Wade certainly looks equipped to do some slicing and dicing. Previous images from the set seemed to suggest a more comedic vibe, but things may be about to get deadly serious here - for Deadpool's enemies, at least!

Deadpool 2 is set to hit theaters on June 1, 2018.

I've always liked Reynolds, always comes across as a cool funny guy and glad to see that finally he found a comic book character in Deadpool that seems to go more with his personality.
Hope he continues to do well, and also thought Life was a good role for him.

@Asturgis - I thought it was good and very tense. Very ALien-esque but better than Prometheus, and probably better than Covenant (Which I haven't seen).
Not perfect but I liked it.

@SimplyAz - I think the shots of Deadpool and film crew are actually part of the movie where Deadpool breaks the 5th wall... talking not only to the audience but showing and interacting with the film crew on screen. Wouldn't that be a hoot.
