A new batch of photos from the set of Deadpool 2 have found their way online today and they feature a fresh look at Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, but what's going on in this rainy sequence? Find out here!

We've now seen quite a few photos of the Merc with the Mouth on the set of the Deadpool sequel, but fear not, we will be getting to see Ryan Reynolds' handsome face in the movie. Sort of. As you can see below, the horribly scarred Wade Wilson made his return last night for scenes which involved the fan-favourite character being hit by a car during a rainy sequence. Why? We have no idea as of right now.

Even so, it's interesting to see that we'll once again be spending time with Wade outside the suit, especially as the first instalment dealt with all the origin story material and the mercenary dealing with his new look. Could this be an attempt at suicide or just a sight gag of sorts? We'll find out next year!
