Fresh out of dental surgery, there were only two things on the mind of Twitter user James Eversole: "Banging" his wife and seeing Deadpool 2. While his wife made it perfectly clear there would be no "banging," her husband did score a pretty sweet get well present from Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds.
Eversole's wife took video of the post surgery chat she had with her loopy husband following the removal of all four of his wisdom teeth, and then shared it on social media. While still under the influence of medicine, Eversole muttered regret that they had, somehow, missed the premiere of Deadpool 2. Of course, Deadpool 2 doesn't come out for another few months, and his wife assured him that they hadn't missed it. Now, Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds - the Merc with a Mouth, himself - assured Eversole they won't miss it!
Having seen the tweet, Reynolds responded to the video by inviting James to the premiere of the "Untitled Deadpool Sequel" in May. Check out the original video and Reynolds' response below.
It's unclear if James ended up getting his ice cream, but scoring an invite to the Deadpool 2 premiere ain't too shabby. And if the Merc with a Mouth is involved, perhaps there will be some banging after all.
