Disney's Bob Iger has shared a first look at the Disney+ screen interface, and with it comes a glimpse of the official logos for some of the upcoming shows, including Falcon & Winter Soldier. UPDATE...

We still don't have an exact launch date for the Disney+ streaming service, but we are expected to get a proper teaser for some of the content that will be available very soon.

In the meantime, Disney chief Bob Iger has officially unveiled a first look at the service's screen interface, and with it comes an intriguing glimpse of several of the show's official logos.

There are quite a few screen-grabs doing the rounds, but of most interest to us CBMers will be the title treatments for the first ever live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, and MCU spin-off Falcon & Winter Soldier starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. As you can see, the logo for the latter incorporates a wing from Falcon's flight suit and the signature red star of Captain America's best bud.

Oh, and it looks like the Vision and Scarlet Witch series all actually be titled WandaVision! We also have a first look at the live-action Lady and The Tramp adaptation, and all we can say is.... awwwwwww!

Check out the logos below along with a Disney Twitter thread if you want to keep an eye on updates, and let us know what you think.

UPDATE: The official launch date and weekly/monthly cost of the service have now been revealed!

@BlackBeltJones - Awful title.

And I have zero interest on this or in any other of the announced MCU TV shows so far, except for the "What if?" animated one (I used to read the "What If?" comics when I was a kid and most of them were pretty good or at least interesting), everything else looks like a bad way to try to milk the MCU cow with B characters from The Avengers movies to launch this streaming service, I would rather watch TV shows with characters that have not been used yet by Marvel Studios, like Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade or even Shang-Chi (I know they are making a movie, but I can't really understand how they think about doing a Shang-Chi movie before a Fantastic Four, X-Men, Blade or Ghost Rider movie, or before many other more popular Marvel characters, but specially now that they got the rights back for the FF and the X-Men they should focus on doing what they did with Spidey and bring them to the MCU asap).

They should also resurrect the Netflix shows with better production, better writing and less episodes (if necessary, if they find a story that justifies 12-13 episodes per season I wouldn't mind to watch them all). Maybe merge IF and LC as a "Heroes for Hire" show, add JJ if it's necessary, that with the Daredevil and Punisher shows in a soft reboot handled by Marvel Studios with other new shows for characters like Moon Knight or Shang-Chi that could later join The Defenders (or give them any other name to the show where they all unite and maybe are helped by Hawkeye or anyone else from the films now that this all would be produced by Marvel Studios) would be more interesting than most of these Disney+ shows imo.

While this has better appeal from the offset than say DC Universe, I don't think this is the "Netflix Killer" Disney is hoping it will be, at least not initially. Netflix I think is so entrenched in the public zeitgeist and it's got a wider range of content that this service doesn't and will never have.
LongMayHeReign
LongMayHeReign - 4/11/2019, 4:33 PM
@Oberlin4Prez - I don't think Disney believes that even they can "kill" Netflix, especially with a family friendly only service but I believe they think ( and I do as well) that Disney+ will be a serious contender to provide more option in the streaming business.

Netflix will always thrive because like Disney they have an iron clad brand and a lot of content.

@Oberlin4Prez - yeah don’t think in terms of Netflix killer, i bet they are thinking in terms of people can get behind this in addition to Netflix

The only way to make that title work is if Mojo is the antagonist.
