Lookin forward to a sequel… I agree the chemistry between the two leads wasnt great, but i still enjoyed the movie a lot, especially given its based on a short silly kids ride.

The sequel? I don't want to see the first movie let alone the sequel.

Just didn't like the fuzzy world building. His persona at the beginning (oaf who is in serious debt, lives by the seat of his pants) is purely story driven and doesn't match at all with who he actually is, and they make no attempt to reconcile the two.

We've had plenty of "find the magical life saving McGuffin" recently as well, Pirates did it, Dr. Doolittle did it, it's just a common trope and her motivation wasn't even that great.

But the leads had good chemistry and the script (not the plot) was okay. I'm going to be picky though. Build your world better.
