JUNGLE CRUISE Stars Dwayne Johnson And Jack Whitehall Share Set Photo With A Terrifying Anaconda
As evidenced by the latest set photo, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is absolutely loving his time in the Amazon as he films Disney's Jungle Cruise. Co-star Jack Whitehall has probably seen better days.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has once again found himself in the middle of the jungle, this time on the set of Disney's Jungle Cruise. Production on the movie, which is based loosely on the Disney theme park attraction of the same name, began last month. Now, Johnson has taken to Instagram to share a photo from the set.
In the photo, Johnson is seen alongside co-star Jack Whitehall posing with a "big ol' hungry Anaconda." While Johnson appears to be having the time of his life, clearly Whitehall is not nearly as enthused. Johnson teased "the adventure of the lifetime" will see the two of them swimming with piranhas next.
Plot details for Disney's Jungle Cruise still remain a mystery, though Johnson previously compared it to an Indiana Jones-like adventure. While Johnson is posing with Whitehall in this photo, the film will also star Emily Blunt. In the production announcement video, the two described the film as a "love story." Whitehall will reportedly play the brother of Blunt's character in the movie - "a key role in the storyline."
Disney's Jungle Cruise is slated to hit theaters October 2019. Are you excited to return to the jungle on an adventure of a lifetime with The Rock?
