It's been a while since we've had any updates on Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy, but thanks to a new photo from the set (shared by The DisInsider), we now have our first look at stars Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson in full costume as the title characters.

We've seen numerous live-action takes on the beloved tale at this point (most of which have underwhelmed), and although our young heroes do seem to be garbed in Peter and Wendy's classic outfits here, The Green Knight director David Lowery's involvement has piqued a lot of interest.

In a recent interview, the filmmaker described his movie as "The Revenant with flying kids," so it certainly sounds like we're in for a considerably less conventional take on the story than we're used to seeing.

Check out the photo at the link below.

Peter Pan and Wendy is also set to star Jude Law (Captain Marvel) as Captain Hook, Yara Shahidi (Black•ish) as Tinker Bell; Molly Parker (House of Cards) as Mrs. Darling; and Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) as Mr. Darling.

The movie was originally developed as a Disney+ exclusive release, but there's a chance it might also get a theatrical release. We should find out for certain during Disney's Investor Day this November.

How about just posting the picture instead of making up press on stuff to go to other sites

@dracula - Because we don't want to get sued for hosting leaked images.

@RorMachine - How about posting the actual source link then instead of linking a Tweet that links the actual source?

Like wtf, we have to click thrice to even see the image?

Alexander Molony may be a young Ezra in some flashback where Kanan appears. Maybe Mena Massoud's Ezra remembers his training with the master?

@Repian - He looks too young to even be Rebels S1 Ezra tbh.

@LlamaLord - Alexander Molony is 15 years old. Perfect for a young Ezra.

@Repian - Well, even so he still looks younger than Ezra looked in S1 lol. Plus he doesn't have the cocky arrogant look that Ezra's supposed to have either.

@Repian - Mm no, acting can't change your face. He just doesn't look the part to me, apparently he does to you. Fair enough, but he'd be a bad choice in my opinion.

The only Peter Pan story/movie I’ve ever cared about was Hook from 1991. Everything else is caca in my opinion.
