Disney has debuted the full trailer and a new poster for Lasse Hallström's adaptation of The Nutcracker and The Four Realms.

While the majority of you won't fall into the film's target demographic, it definitely looks like something the whole family will enjoy if a Christmas trip to the flicks is on the agenda for later this year.

The movie is set to hit theaters on November 2, and stars Mackenzie Foy as Clara, Morgan Freeman as Drosselmeyer, and Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Check out the trailer below along with the poster and a synopsis, and let us know what you think in the comments.

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.

It seems a lot different from the book/ballet. Keira Knightley's voice surprised me. Great cover of No Doubt's "Just a Girl" though. And Mackenzie Foy is a gift to this world.

Why is this even called "The Nutcracker" when it bares 0 resemblance to the classic tale. Live action Disney movies are garbage.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - Well Pirates of the Caribbean has its ups and downs but it's still an entertaining franchise and I really like Tron: Legacy and Jungle book. Beauty and the Beast was average but wouldn't call bad.

Morgan Freeman is allowed to be in a disney film despite the sexual harassment allegations made against him, and yet James Gunn has to be wrongfully thrown under the bus. Alan horn you disgust me
