THOR Actor Joseph Gatt Joins Tim Burton's Live-Action Adaptation Of The Disney Classic DUMBO

Another cast member has been announced for Tim Burton's retelling of Disney classic, Dumbo. Joseph Gatt has been added to the production, which already includes Colin Farrell, Eva Green & Michael Keaton.

Joseph Gatt has joined the cast of the live-action Dumbo movie, Deadline has learned. The actor, who's credit include Z Nation, Star Trek: Into Darkness and Thor, will be playing a character by the name of Skellig.

The story follows Colin Farrell's character, Holt, a former circus star who's life is turned upside down when he returns home from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur, V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.

Dumbo will be released in theater on March 29, 2019.
