@WakandaTech - One thing that Marvel Studios has gotten really good at is slow burn set ups. Things are never rushed but small bits here and there scattered throughout movies during Phases help set up future projects.

The heroes' powersets are increasing in strength, plus new players like the Eternals up the ante. These guys could handle Thanos easily. So the question becomes - who will be their next greatest threat?

Galactus? Kang? Or a team of villains - Sinister Six and Viktor von Doom?

I don't know why but I just love to hear lizzie speak about this role. I dont really get into accents and how good they are because I'm no expert in it myself so I never know

One of the less discussed aspects of WandaVision I loved was how they sought to sortof call out how much the MCU had been underutilizing Wanda up to that point, commenting on things like her lack of codename and such. The way that they really highlighted the Sokovian elements of her background, going all the way back to passing comments from Age of Ultron really made that show feel like it was making up for moments that had been pretty clearly missed the previous 5 years. That was what made the moments where her accent come back so cool, because it really highlighted how so much of her natural self she'd been suppressing in order to blend in throughout her post Sokovian life.

I'm still holding out hope that if she's in the next Avengers/event movie that there's a moment where the team tries to chastise her accountable and she fires right back at them for not supporting her after everything she'd been through

Wandavision did a solid job of exploring the complexity of her character. Looking forward to seeing more of her in Multiverse of Madness.

Eh, Americans doing Eastern European/Russian accents are always cringeworthy. Bracing myself for Black Widow in July.

Sucks that Natasha never had her Russian accent, but it's probably that ScarJo cannot do one lol

@abd00bie - Or maybe that she was undercover? And afterwards she probably just wanted to assimilate and not stick out?
MasterMix

@abd00bie - Personally, I do find it strange that she didn't have a Russian accent from the beginning. It's gonna be even stranger to see as the only one without a Russian accent in her solo film.

@abd00bie - She's a spy.

@abd00bie - To be fair, it would be in the better interest of any spy to lose any accent or trace of their identity.

"because she’s been in America, and has to have been speaking English more.'" That's an incredibly stupid statement. Just because you spent a few years in america doesn't mean your whole life of talking with an accent would just disappear.

@Beartastic25 - was about to say the same thing. Spent the last three years speaking English, and I still haven't lost my terrible Dutch accent.

Between doing and Eastern Europe and any British accent, 9 out of 10 times it's only distractingly bad. So for whatever reason they had, I'm glad they dropped the accent so soon. Don't know how I feel about them bringing it back.

Love how much she loves the character. Glad she feels ownership now after all this time. She’s straight killing it as Wanda!
