I got a question related to DS movie. If Thanos would destroy Earth, would that allow Dormammu to enter our dimension?

@nux - Maybe. His bargain was with Strange. No Strange, no bargain.

@nux - it wouldn't matter even if he did per the powers of the glove .... even in his own realm dormammu would be crushed surprisingly ....

We don't know much about phase 4 yet - Hopefully, a Dr. Strange 2 is part of it.

I got a feeling Dr. Strange will be the "Deus Ex Machina" of IW or A4. He's arguably the most powerful hero in the MCU right now, and when things get really bad he'll probably fix it with his dimension powers or whatnot.

I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but he'll be this movie's "That Was Easy" button.

@KWilly - unless the Eye of Agamotto is taken from him.

Still one of the bigger disappointments for me in the MCU. Nothing about it was bad per se, but I didn’t feel a thing one way or the other after watching and have zero intent to see it again. The epitome of hitting all the same beats again with respect to the pretty great Dormammu scene(minus a few points for that giant rainbow faced.... thing)

@MarsivNayr - to each their own, personally I loved the movie, thought it was a great origin movie and the next will be able to hit the ground running without so much set up

This seems a lot tripper than what we actually got. Shame.

The best concept art for one of Marvels best films.

I think the character of Steven Strange might be my favorite MCU character. Really enjoy Cumberbatches portrayal.

But they have got to loosen the reins on Derrickson for the sequel...if there ever is a sequel.

This was pitched one thing but came in with the very generic MCU tone. Even Antman was more of a heist film (although...eh) than Dr. Strange ever came close to a horror MCU film,

They have all the pieces. But loosen the reins and let this throroguhnred fly!

one of the most beautiful movies to ever grace my eyes.

The concept art and some of these comments highlight that this was built up to be a true mold-breaker filled with horror/sci-fi trippy elements but the final product was very formulaic. I find it similar to Ant-Man upon rewatching both. Not bad, but almost boring and by-the-numbers compared to what could have been. Final battle, Mordo were highlights but everything else felt a little stale. Black Panther and Ragnarok are the closest we've gotten so far, I believe, to really busting out of the formula and embracing the weird/different movie structure.

Not to mention they wasted Mads Mikkelsen almost as bad as Defenders wasted Sigourney Weaver.

Some of these are really awesome. Especially the time travel ones with multiple versions of him. Hope we see that in the sequel.

Loved this movie, one of my favorite CBMs. Can't wait for it to expand the MCU even more.

Only negatives about it for me was I wish it was a little longer, and they didn't use Mads as Kaecilius. He was very good in his role, but he should be a much bigger bad guy in the MCU, he's too great.
