Eternals held its world premiere in Los Angeles, California last night, giving critics their first opportunity to watch the film. Most have been respectful of spoilers, but Variety's Senior Film Writer, Matt Donnelly, has dropped a major bombshell we're assuming is tied to a post-credits scene.

According to Donnelly, the rumors are true, and Dunkirk star Harry Styles has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos' brother, Eros. He provides no context for the scene, but a leaked plot did indicate this might be a cameo right at the very end of this history-spanning adventure. This is a writer with one of the Hollywood trades, so it's unlikely to be false information or someone trolling fans.
In case the Tweet is deleted, though, Donnelly said: "Big reveal from [the] [Eternals] premiere -- Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos." He'd later follow up with, "[Eternals], which I really enjoyed for its tremendous ensemble, is objectively the sexiest movie Marvel has ever made. As in an actual sex scene (very G rated tho). Two men kissing. Richard Madden and Angelina's faces."
This might mean a lot or very little for the MCU's future, but we're definitely intrigued to see more of Eros.
