In this new Eternals featurette, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige makes one thing clear: by the time the credits roll, the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it will have been totally redefined.

There's also some awesome new footage from the next Phase 4 adventure, including impressive shots of the Deviants and a great moment where we see how Makkari's deafness will be portrayed on screen. A number of cast members weigh in on what we should expect (including Salma Hayek), as do Academy Award-winning director Chloé Zhao and producer Nate Moore.

Featurettes don't often make for exciting viewing, but we're sure this sneak peek will get you hyped!

Eternals is the MCU's latest team-up, and features a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

Chloé Zhao directs Eternals, and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The story is by Ryan Firpo & Matthew K. Firpo, and the screenplay is by Chloé Zhao and Patrick Burleigh.

The Marvel Studios movie stars Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.

Eternals is set to be released on November 5.

@Jeight8 - producers say this about films that are a certain way through a franchise all the time, and Feige has been saying it or something similar to it for years. Never comes around though. It’s just words to get people excited

@Drace24 - Of course, I've just been tired how actors claim their movie will be the game-changer as CAWS.

ScarJo did it for Black Widow and Mackie did it for Falcon.

This movie looks awesome so far, I'm just a bit anxious if they ruin it with forced humor.

@Frshcoupe - At some point it will be an actual problem for Disney that their movies are competing with each other.

So Infinity War and Endgame didn't change the MCU.

@pestulio07 - Uhm... first, that's very incorrect. And second, where DID that get us in your opinion?
Jeight8
Jeight8 - 10/11/2021, 7:01 AM
A lot of snark and sarcasm in this thread about a movie with a diverse cast directed by a woman.

Strange. Very strange...
UXASIS
UXASIS - 10/11/2021, 8:26 AM
@Jeight8 - Do you see any comments criticizing this movie because of its female director or diverse cast?

It sounds like you forbid people to criticize some aspects of a movie just because of its unique race/diversity cast/crew.

Are we allowed to dislike movies made only by men?

And which MCU movie doesn't have a diverse cast?
Drace24
Drace24 - 10/11/2021, 10:01 AM
@UXASIS - How are there still people who are not bored senseless by this stupid [frick]ing topic every frickin time?
Twenty23Three
Twenty23Three - 10/11/2021, 2:10 PM
@Jeight8 - the ‘snark and sarcasm’ is being directed at a statement from the producer. A white dude. Try better next time cause dumb statements like that take away from when people are genuinely being sexist or racist. Don’t be that guy cos no one likes him.

Pretty sure we'll have a broader idea of the MCU as he said in the feature. And the more Eternals entries that keep coming through the years, it will expand further.
