More promo art from Eternals has surfaced online, this time offering a closer look at the members of the team played by Richard Madden (Bodyguard) and Gemma Chan (Captain Marvel): Ikaris and Sersi!

Eternals was supposed to have been released in theaters last month, so it's no real shock that more leaks for the Marvel Studios production are dominating social media today. Honestly, it's surprising they've actually not been more commonplace, but not even the might of Disney can stop promo art from leaking!

This has been the case with almost every Marvel Studios film, from The Avengers to Captain America: Civil War. Even new looks for key heroes in Avengers: Endgame were revealed this way.

You could even call it a tradition, and thanks to some newly surfaced promo art, we get a closer look at Ikaris (Richard Madden) and Sersi (Gemma Chan). The rest of the team are similarly highlighted on a t-shirt, though it's this duo that receives the lion's share of attention. We can't help but wonder if Black Knight's introduction will lead to a love triangle in the upcoming ensemble.

As for what this reveals, we may not get plot details, but these characters sure look cool.

Marvel Studios surely would've preferred if comic book fans got a first real look at these characters via a trailer or some officially released stills and posters. However, given how great these costumes are, it's hard to imagine those familiar with these heroes being anything other psyched after seeing this.

I do hope we can see some footage from this movie soon, because it’s getting kind of hard to get excited for this movie when all we ever see is artistic renderings of pretty people in futuristic wetsuits.

@DoubleD - Are we talking about the U.S., because that isn't how we've done things and likely it will continue that way.

Everytime they poll people, nearly 50%+ say they aren't going to take the vaccine, so there's NO WAY things go back to semi-normal in 2021. Movie theatres most likely will be ghost towns through 2021...the ones that survive that is.
DoubleD
DoubleD - 12/28/2020, 8:28 AM
@Feralwookiee - It's December 2020 vaccine was just found weeks ago and over 2 million are vaccinated. As people see the vaccine is safe more people will take it and that number drop fast. I personally know 3 who have taken it already feel it's safe. The minute I am offered I will take it.
Feralwookiee
Feralwookiee - 12/28/2020, 8:32 AM
@DoubleD - That's good, but again, if we need around 70%+ of the population to be vaccinated and roughly HALF of the population says they aren't gonna do it, it's not gonna happen.

Plus, in a country of 330 million that's deeply divided, you can't get people on the same page for anything imo.
We're gonna be wearing masks and operating at diminished capacity for yearS.

@Feralwookiee - I think Disney and Marvel feels like I do more people that see the vaccine is safe and numbers will drop a lot faster and theaters will be full in May 2021.

I only dislike these designs because I know for a fact the MCU will force these bland boring designs into the beautiful gorgeous coloured comics later on.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Lol...you're going by cheap artwork leaks that are using 3 colors. You know nothing for a fact.
Se4M4NSt4ine
Se4M4NSt4ine - 12/28/2020, 9:11 AM
@Tonic24k - Lol... you just low key bashed the costumes yourself, only emphasising my point.
Tonic24k
Tonic24k - 12/28/2020, 7:48 PM
@Se4M4NSt4ine - Well no...I was commenting on this leaked art that clearly looks like a cheap version of what the costumes actually are. Hence, my comment about going by cheap artwork...as in, not the actual costumes...

I promise you, your point was never emphasized.

@Tonic24k - the art is accurate. It’s from the toy line. This is what it’s going to look like. Please accept it and move on...
Tonic24k
Tonic24k - 12/29/2020, 10:19 AM
@Se4M4NSt4ine - Dude...smh...why do I have to explain this to you? The only thing here to accept is that this art does not accurately reflect how these characters and their costumes are going to look on film.

Here's old promo art for Infinity War:

Technically accurate but doesn't look nearly as good as how it looked on film does it?
Se4M4NSt4ine
Se4M4NSt4ine - 12/29/2020, 1:51 PM
@Tonic24k - what is seriously your point? All the designs there are what made it into the film? They’ve tweaked the colours for the promo art, that’s it.

My problem isn’t with the colour, it’s with the bland disgusting generic cheap designs. What’s so hard to understand about that?
Tonic24k
Tonic24k - 12/29/2020, 7:00 PM
@Se4M4NSt4ine - My point is simple. Which is why someone else in another article is making the same exact argument against you. You do not have a clear image of what these costumes will look like. Judging off this low quality art is silly. You have an idea...but nothing to form such a miserable complaint about. And the last half of your original argument is just a whiney assumption. Be less whiney.

Why I respect Disney and Marvel Studios they do things the right way. DON'T try and take short-cuts to win like WB their more concerned about making fast buck.

Batman91
Batman91 - 12/28/2020, 9:00 AM
I see this movie at the top of so many people's lists of most anticipated cbm's, could someone explain why?

I don't care one bit about this movie. I don't know anything about the Eternals, and granted I didn't know anything about GotG when that movie came out either but that at least had me interested because of Rocket.

This also has the problem Captain Marvel has (if they/she have been around all this time, why didn't they help in "insert high stakes MCU battle here") except Captain Marvel had an elegant answer to that in Endgame, she's helping people all across the universe, but the Eternals are supposed to have been on Earth all this time right? So what's the deal?

I also don't care much for most of the cast, but that's just personal preference.

I'm not trying to be snarky here, I just legit want to know why people are hyped fpr this.
