@dracula - yeah its hard to get excited for Darkseid when he looks so cheap and is in a film that's pretty much a cul de sac.

@dracula - Doesn't take away my excitement but hey I understand and I will agree that Darkseid deserves a proper and better introduction.

Why do i have the feeling that it will be an unnecessary appearence?
We had the character build up for years that led to an epic show down. Lets move on please

@RokoVII - Its almost guaranteed to just be a quick showing of him as a kid or something. I mean, his origin is tied to the Eternals, so it only makes sense. I'm sure he won't have anything of imlortance to do with the plot.
RokoVII

@CorndogBurglar - yeah yeah i know, just not a fan of it in general

SnideCut
SnideCut - 1/23/2021, 1:35 PM
@CorndogBurglar - Dude, you literally said he's tied with the origins of the Eternals. Why is it not needed? This is a cinematic universe. Why even bother if you can't play into the universe part of it all.
SnideCut
SnideCut - 1/23/2021, 1:35 PM
@RokoVII - His origin is tied with the Eternals. Hardly unnecessary.
RokoVII
RokoVII - 1/23/2021, 1:44 PM
@SnideCut - im aware, just not a fan of it in general considering it will probably have nothing to do with the plot
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 1/23/2021, 9:32 PM
@SnideCut - I'm not saying they can't, or shouldn't show him at all. All I'm saying is I highly doubt Thanos will have anything to do with the actual story thats being told in Eternals. Which makes it unnecessary.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 1/23/2021, 9:35 PM
@SnideCut - So, by necessary, are you saying that they can't tell a story in Eternals without showing a youger Thanos? Or that Thanos' character in the entire Infinity Saga is somehow lessened by not showing his younger self?

They can definitely add to hos backstory. But its hardly a necessary thing at this point.
SnideCut
SnideCut - 1/23/2021, 11:06 PM
@CorndogBurglar - First of all, neither you nor I have seen Eternals to deem whether his appearance was necessary to the movie. But as far as The Eternal characters are concerned, Thanos has a role to play in their story so I don't see him appearing in their movie being unnecessary.
SnideCut
SnideCut - 1/23/2021, 11:07 PM
@RokoVII - If you're aware that he is tied with The Eternals origin, how can you still think it'll have nothing to do with the plot?
RokoVII
RokoVII - 1/24/2021, 12:42 AM
@SnideCut - nothing of importance. Thanos will probably just have a 2 min appearance
RokoVII
RokoVII - 1/24/2021, 12:57 AM
@SnideCut - they definitely can tell an Eternals story without having a younger Thanos just for a few minutes of screen time. If Thanos is so necessary to the story itself it would not just be an appearance.
