Fantastic Four Reboot (By the SoulEater) revised

Hello friends, I like fantastic four.

That said lets get down to buisness.
THE FIRST MOVIE MADE ME WEEP!!! The second one was tolerable due to the silver surfer's awsomeness. PLUS Dr. Doom was more like his character then he was in the first. Sue looked more LIKE sue, who are we kidding? we like Alba) And Ben and Johnny had always acted like ben and johnny, I'm that dissapointed to see them leave, they're what i enjoyed about either film. As for Reed. Good choice, not really allowed to breath as reed, to BE reed, like Tony stark is Robert donwey, Or how Alfred Molina was Doc Ock.

No one aside from Ben and Johnny storm, lived up to their characters.

That plus a good script would make the movie a success I think.

Borrow elements from both old and classic and ultimate versions, pool them into something new, and i believe the movie could work.

I warn you, this is a pitch of the movie and is rather long, but I BEG that you see it through to the end...or if you wanna tick me off skip to the bottom where my cast is...and ignore my idea off the top of my head i spent till 5:00 in the morning to write...

The movie starts out in a TV show stage, where the show host is talking in the back about how this is gonna be bigger then Appollo 13 and HE'S gonna present the first show, not even Oprah is getting the premere interview. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! It's Victor Von Dame and the Fantastic Four!! Coming out of the back are the 5 members of the team. Reed Richards, Doctor and Scientest in physics, and pretty much anything you can name. Sue Richards, his newly wedded wife, and fellow scientist. As well as her little brother Johnny Storm and, and the freind of the family Benjamin K. Grimm. Lastly is their sponcer, and REEDS friend, Victor Von Dame.

THey all wave to the crowd, and Johnny storm blows kisses to the ladies on the front wearing T-shrits with him on it (like twilihgt ones). Reed Richards motions for him to sit down, but he keeps waving, to which Ben glares at him making him sit. Sue rolls her eyes slightly then continues waving, till Reed kisses her cheek, to which the crowd goes nuts. Then after they all have shook the hand of the host, lastly Von Dame, they all sit down.

The host: "Doctor VanDamme, it is an honor to have you and your colorful family here with us today..."

Dame:"Thank you Chester.."

Host:"I Mean you have made, AMAZING leaps in science and weapons technology that i'm sure alot of us thought impossible, and for America too, with you being from Latveria, why the allegience?"

Dame:"Well, *chuckles* I went to college here, and um, well I approve of how things are run, this is a nation of progress, which is all about what my company is, it doesnt just speak for everyone it IS everyone."

Host:"Yes...now even though you area CEO of your company your still more hands on in regards to Space exploration and sceince correct?"

Victor:"OH most certainly. Well, I provide the funding now...to see my work take flight, in the hands of those who can share my dream or add to it, or even correct it if it has some grey areas. Cause thats what a family is Chester,and i'm proud to have Reed as the face of my sceince firms, he's an excellent assit...."
(host nods)
"To say the very Least. He's a long time friend, and his family is just a delight, I'd like to think of them as my own in a way.."
(He looks at them, and Sue of course smiles warmly and Ben just nods polightly while Johnny continues making eyes at one of the cute looking stage hands.)

Doom tries not to look exasperated and turns his attention back to the host who says:
"So you were saying that your like a family...now wasnt there a little discord in the "Family" towards the begining?"

Victor nods to reed who smiles and says "I'll let you take this one."

Reed:"Well Chester...yeah I guess you could say discord. Um we were thinking of breaking off from Dame industries...back in the day, due to the scandle, (nods) Which you know of. And uh possibly starting my own, which was near impossible at the time but still..."

Victor:"Are you crazy he'd over shadow me in a month.."
Reed shakes his head at him and smiles:"....And Vick was sure at the time there was no fowl play, and I was thinking of cutting my loss's and leaving." Chester nods, "But I suppose friendship held fast till the end?"

Reed smiles, and so does Dame nodding, "Definatlly...and I'm a lucky man for it to or else Victor industries might not even be where it is today."
Host:"And that would be a terrible loss..."

Reed nods and smiles at Sue, holding her hand, "Yeah it would have..."

Crowd:"Awwwww"

Host:"Dont ya love it....Now Reed since we're on this track, it was shortly after that, that you proposed and married Susan here correct?"
Reed is about to speak up but both he and Sue speak at once, so he lets her go: "Thanks Reed, Um yes. We had been friends, best friends since college...all four of us in fact. Me, Reed, Ben and Victor, and uh we began dating actualy, after he came back."

Host:"So it was best friend turned sweet heart then right?"

Susan:"Mmmhmm, I was just taken I guess about how he came back to help Dames company when everyone thought he was to blame, and saved all our jobs, he always streches himself to see something through, its what I love about him."

Host:"How very touching, now for the...man mountain of the group, Benjimen Grimm?"

Ben:"I like Ben more.."

Host:"Ben then, so you knew the 3 of them in college correct?"

Ben:"Thats right, but me and Reed, we went way back to high school, he was the brains who got me the through my Geo and Chem, and I was the brawn who kept him from getting his tale kicked everyday..."

Reed:"Oh stop it! Ben I wasn't a complete weakling" *laughing*

Vick:"Well...." *Chuckles*

Reed:"Hey!"
*Everyone laughs*

Host: and now to you:"The youngest and newest member to the team. Johnny Storm what was it that made them choose you to make this the new fantastic 5?"

JOhnny:"Well...mainly cause i'm that awesome.."
*everyone laughs, and so does he*

Johnny:"But um actually, I uh, aced the testing the push planes that we had, then flight simulators. And then anti gravity training...I guess i just have that spark to addapt to the situation..."

Host:"Uh huh, and uh not once did you think of getting your sister to pull a few strings to get you to where you are now?"

Johnny:"Psssh naw"

Sue:"every day, ever hour..."

Johnny:"Oh come on!"

Susan:"I kid you not, he was always on the phone, trying to get a break but i
told him, you are my brother, and your going to succeed at what you do, BECAUSE your going to do it honorably and on your own."

Host: and is it satisfying? knowing its paid off?"
Johnny winks at the audience, "Oh yeah!..." *Girls go nuts*

Host:"Well, you and your family are now planning a new venture correct, now why dont you tell the audience about that?"

Vick:"Ahem...well Chester, we beleive that we may have found....an energy source beyond mother nature, I mean we are talking making electricy and Solar power look like gas lamps."

Reed takes the helm when given leave:"Its a self sustaining...gas, or glactic wave, much like a cloud of our atmosphere. Now like a cloud is made up of multiple water dropplets, this clould is made up of billions of spheres of energy that feed off of each other and charge each other, growing bigger and bigger with more momentum.

Host:"And we'll see a bigger example of that in a moment right?"

Reed:"Thats right...."
*They all turn around to look at the screen behind them which shows the audience, and us, what reed means about a cosmic clould, and how Mars' gravitational pull has for some reason caught it in its orbit, and how odd it is, since the cloud has evaded the pull of other planets likened to Jupitor. Using the ship they designed, they plan to go into deep space to find it, and study it before it dissapates or perhaps break from the pull..approaching earth, and how their ship will be able to study its effects.

*Lights come back on and the host now says:"Well, that was truely astounding...
and YOU will be the new 4 to go into space to see this cloud?"

Reed nods, Johnny interrupts:"Thats right Chester, the very first not only to get that close to mars, but to see with the human eye what no being has seen before..I'm going to be piloting the rocket myself with Ol' Benjy here..."
Dame, and Reed, and Susan, try to mask their embarresment/anger, while Ben makes no such effort.

Susan speaks:"Like my brother just said...ben and Johnny are really the best pilots for this mission, and I know have the tenacity, and common sense (says last with aggrivation) to see the mission through."
Chester:"And Von Damme, You will not be joining them?"
Victor regains his composure and voices:"Saddly no, I was never much for field work...well as much as Reed and Ben were....another reason they're so invaluable."

Reed:"Still never wanting to get your hands dirty" *Both chuckle sort of*

(AFter show, Reed and Sue(mostly sue) chew out Johnny Storm about his show boating, and Ben threatens to releive him of his duty due to injury. Dame on the other hand is talking with Reed about how this is going to change both their lives. Reed looks a little skeptical, Doom talks to him about how nothing could be wrong. Reed tells him:
"You mean just like back in 2001?"

Damme shakes his head, "Reed, back then was a rookie's mistake..."
Reed nods unassuredly "Yeah, a scandle there...a factory contamination here....and me coming in to find an excuse for it later, your back in buisness...."

Damme puts a hand on Reeds shoulder "Hey....WE....we're back in buisness all of us...we're the fantastic 5 now...I need you with me on this. I have NEVER forgotten how you could have easily left me to drown and didn't...I'd of lost everything. I'm making it up to you....I know how much this means to you...going into space and finding a discovery like this. I even pulled the strings for your brother in law to come."

Reed smirks a little "Well for a moment i thought that was a list of FAVORS.."
Dame chuckles, "Dont worry Reed...everything mapped out, there will be NO slip ups..I promise."

Reed again nods, looking at a TV screen of a rerun of the vid of space. "YEah lets hope so....a mess up in SpACE isn't something you walk away from..."

(I liked how they explained how their suits could mutate with them since that always had rison in my questioning. So keep the scene where Reed explains how the suit adapts to your body's individual needs. Also it will be explained they'll be using a the rare oar, Vibrainium that Victor discovered that can absorb energy like a sponge, Fortunatly, being the discoverer of the limited supply on the earth made Damme the decider of how to use it, and that was to make the satalite they'd be lauching off of the ship they're in.)

Ben gets home to his appartment and fiddles around with his keyes, he drops them and grumbles. Suddenly a walking stick loops them and slides them down to the handle to the hand of who's holding it. "Alica.." He says smirking and looking up, ALicia masters (his next door neighbor) takes keyes off the walking stick.
"Benjamin Grimm..." she smiles, "should be more careful..." Ben rolls his eyes taking keyes from her.

"Still baby'n me huh?" Alica shruggs "Maybe if you weren't such a big baby..."

Ben chuckles. Suddenly the door opens, bens' girlfriend stacy comes out and wraps arms around him, "Honey!" they kiss. Ben smiles and kisses back, Alicia breifly winces, then puts on happy face...

Girlfriend:"Oh...hey alicia...need help getting back to your room.."
Alicia forces her grin more "No no....i've lived here for.......a year now..I'm pretty sure i can manage it.."

Ben shakes his head:"Come on babe, she's tough like me, she can handle herself.."

Alicia nods to ben smiling, then reaches out for a hug, which he gives, (And she enthaticly enjoys) then turns and goes her way down the hall.

Ben and Stacy go inside together and talk about how this mission is going to change their lives, she's all excited about getting married and such. He has a question as to wether she'd of finally given into marrying him or even getting an apartment with him if he weren't one of the Fantastic Four(now fantastic 5) on the cover of Time Magazine.... she asks from other room what he said and he says "Nothin'...."

Doom (or Damme as he's to be called for now) is looking over a model of the ship.. his hench-lady/secratary person:Barda, says "Will you be requiring anything further sir?"

Dame:"HMmmm? No Barda, no...thank you...is everything prepped?"

Barda nods, "Yes sir..." *he returns his gaze to the ship* she slinks her handsaround his waist and hugs him from behind. He smiles. "Tommarrow you will be one of the most famous men in history..." she whispers in his ear.

Damme grins broader and touches one of her hands... "Well..one of us anyway..."

Barda scoffs, "Are you refering to that ridiculous Richards? Without you he is nothing, none will support him but you..."

Dame nods, "Yes for the time being though we appear to be in an ultimatum, I cannot survive without him, and he cannot without me...but this

Barda....*touches the ship* this will be like kite...catchign the wind of both our dreams, he will get what he wants.....I'll get what I want...."

Meanwhile back at Reed and Susans appartment at the baxter building, Reed is on the couch on his laptob looking over their flight matrix's, for the hundreth time. Susan comes behind him in a tank and shorts and wraps her arms around him kissing his neck, he smiles but stays attentive.

"Is this the LAST time your going to sneak a convo in with your girlfriend before we go to bed...?" she asks, "Girlfriend??" he says snapping out of his focus,

"The cloud we're exploring tommarrow, ever since you discovered it, she's been like a chat date, your always running checks on her from that laptop of yours, I swear I think you text it sometimes...."

Reed smiles and still doesnt stop typing "Ah honey its just that...its melecular base is so......irradic, I want to make sure its safe....I mean we've NEVER seen anything like this? I mean who knows if its dangerous?....."

Susan:"Well last I checked you did, when you presented it before the board?"
Reed grins again, "Okay babe....you got me.....I'm just fasinated in its self increasing power outage, the evolutionary trates it posesses, I mean we are looking at countless possiblities here...medichines, Technology, who knows how much we could learn from this thing. This could actualy be what-"

Susan finishes for him:"...Started life on earth...I know honey...its just clear you cant get enough of what fastinates you...."

*She looks on knowing she's being drowned out again, but as she gets up to go he pinches her making her laugh...

The next day arrives and Johnny looks at his alarm clock on his hotels desk and realises its time to go.. "OH NUTS!!!!" he scraems and hurridly gets out of bed to put on his things, the girl who we see is the stage hand he was winking at wakes up groggily, "babe what is it?" she asks.
"Me babe....me or I am a dead man....I gotta go..."

At the launch site of the rocket, everyones getting the fotage of the NEW fantastic four, Reed, Ben, Johnny and Sue. Dame is in the watchtower overseeing everything in the control room. Reed shakes hands, as do they all, Ben kisses Stacy, and then as he goes on the shuttle, looks in his bag and see's the good luck charm that Alicia made, he smiles to himself then boards.

(They take off, they're in space, blah blah, blah), they're finally at the coordinance they need to be to launch the stalite from the ship, the beacon goes off in the direction of where the cloud should be coming, but it doesnt.

Johnny and ben have some banter between them, Reed talks about if maybe something went wrong or it dissapated....SUDDENLY the cloud shows up on their monitors, heading straiaght for them. Everyone hurridly braces for impact while Ben attempts to pilot the shuttle out of the way, he yells for Johnny and the others to get to the compartment thats more protected. He's able to get the ship out of the way enough not to take the full brunt, but enough to take a good amount of the radiation from it which craches against the ship.

When they crash back to earth, they discover their powers, in the jungle like in the comics. Fire from the ship threatens a near by village which the fantastic four help stiffle, Johnny absorbs the fire making fire wall before it can burn any more, Sue sheilds everyone, and Reed gets kids out of trees, and or to safety. Ben helps move rubble out of the way to help them get out, and makes a trench for the fire to be blocked by.

Damme's men are there to pick them up when they discover their where abouts, the news coverage of that country soon broad casts their heroics on every station, till it reaches ours.

Reed can only determine that the cloud didnt disapate, it actualy took another form, or demention, what we'll call the "negative zone for now.." and soemthing triggered it to manifest in OUR demention, ergo' the ships and effect us...that would explain its irradicness, and why gravity had no effect on it till it got to mars, it was impervious to gravitational pull until it met with something about our satilite that spotted it, that activated it, like how electricity goes for what ever else has a current in it, like a down power line.

Ben:"So that power line was us?"

Reed nods:"Seems that way..."

Meanwhile everyones trying to diagnose Ben, who's obviously depressed about his state, wondering why he cant change back.

He expects his girlfriend to not want anything to do with him, blaming himself for making the fool decision to pilot the ship out of the way, he should have come home a hero for her to love, but instead came home a monster.

Well true to his prediction, Stacy doesnt show, but Alicia does, and as the movie goes on, they have a "Best friends since kids, girl always had a secret crush the guy didnt know about thing turned love situation."
(Also the both of them meet Victor in passing, and Alica warns that theres soemthing not right about him)

Johnny of course is loving the attention and is soaking up indorsements, while Sue and Reed try to work to find out the basics, can they change back, if not can they slow the prosses of their mutating, IF in fact its progressional.

Damme on the other hand is intrigued by the power readings on Sue and Reed, and the rest, stating that he hopes that the theory of the clouds interdementional traits are not true. Casue if so, it could mean they're all ticking time bombs in new york of this cosmic radiation, that could be triggered by who knows what.
Because of this they live with Damme on his factory grounds where they'll run tests on them.

Reed blames himself for Bens predicament, and Sue says that this is what he always does, putting the weight of the world on his shoulders, and when that happens he loses focus of the things that really matter to him, and he asks, if she's saying that BEN doesnt matter to him, she says no, but then you obsess and it doesnt become about saving Ben, it becomes about succeeding IN the sceintific effort to save ben, Somethings aren't a science.

She reveals she wonders sometimes if their relationship isn't like that....soemthing that simply made sence to do. To collegues, two scientists, working on the same things....was it only because things fell into the right order? Was she worth doing something spontanious for?...does he really love her?

Reeds hurt by it so he doesnt answer (Not cause what she said was true, just that she could think that...and then also seeing her side of it, how it could indeed look that way.)

Damme has a talk with Susan privately later on, which Johnny is privy to without them knowing it.

It's revealed of the novelty how he had to change his name to the dutch version= Van Damme, instead of his orginal German VON DOOM when he started his company so that it would be less omminous. Its also revealed that indeed, Victor and her used to like each other before Reed returned and won her heart after the scandle was fixed. He goes for the "I'm vulnerable too you know" cutenss ploy, reminding her about how how even in college those times he would say the latin words for "I wish i was home"(latveria),when he thought he was at a brink of his own end. And how she remembered hearing him saying that under his breath the day he thought he'd lose the company.)

She resists kissing him when he almost does, saying that he should go back to barda, shes married now, and she realises talking to him why it wouldnt have worked with him and her anyway. Reed woudlnt do what he just did if she were married to Victor. She also says that he reminded her why she fell in love with Reed, he ALWAYS came through, and it was usually when she was about to get tired of him, it was worth it waiting for him to tell her he loved her, and it'll be worth it fighitng fro them to work now...and leaves calling victor by his name DOOM.

Johnny comes after Susan asking her what she was doing with Victor, she tells him he's one to talk with all the ladies he has. He says that she's the one he looks up to and why he doesnt get worse, and she should talk to Reed before she let doom get his hands on her again, shes the one thing he has left of his parents, and they would never....- (he flies away mad)

few scenes later, Damme has been going over these studies of their test results, saying how they could offer the next leap in energy and weapons capablities, there is SO much in them, so much energy thats just waiting to be tapped. And this...*he holds a shard of the vibranium ship* This is just the right thing to soak it all up..... (He then looks out at the testing simulater where they run tests on the vibranium metals to see how much energy can be abosorbed.

Barda meets him there alone like he'd asked her too, she gives him the files he wanted. She says, "Victor....look you know how my allegence has always been to you, and only you but....if the ship actually COULD withstand the blast it took, how were they affected inside?"

Victor:"Mis calculation on Reeds part?"

Barda:"Its just.....the designs for the satalite "Kite" you were launching...resembles the design for the ship...*looks at the model*.....the ship was the kite wasn't it? Not the satalite at all?"

Victor just looks down and says:"Barda what you've just said you can never repeat to anyone else understand?"
She nods and kisses him, "You've trusted me all these years...I wont betray that trust now..."

She takes the files she was refering too and turns to leave and then *BANG!!!* gun shot to the back of the head.

Victor stands there with a smoking gun "Still.........just in case...." he says.

Johnny flies over the nucular/weapons factory site where they're staying and something catches his eye. Its the satalite that was SUPPOSED to have been destroyed in the blast in space, he follows where its being driven too on the base.

The basic plot twist of the movie will be how it turns out that Dame had known all along the nature of the cloud, and that it wasnt Reed or his human crew abord the ship that would trigger the cloud, but infact the Vibrainum hulled ship, that would act as a magnet for it, like to electricity.

It would then broad cast the waves back to his base to be held in theese tanks he'd been prepairing. He'd get rid of richards, making it look like a failure on his end, and meanwhile would have enough negative zone cosmic energy to power his schemes...one of them being a suit that can actualy house the power safetly for the wearer. However seeing the traits shown by the fantastic four*

(Which is now their press given SUPER names, rather then a catchy news name like Kate Plus 8)

He now sees a chance to ALTER matter, from the suit (like the boy in static shock who learned how to control the big bang gas)

His new plan is now to lure the four into his chamber under the guise of perhaps trying to cure them, then absorb the radiation from Reed, even if it kills him, and Ben...not JOhnny or sue...he has.......plans for Susan. (When he earlier on in the movie talks to her alone about how they COULD HAVE BEEN soemthing before Reed, and how he lost her when Reed came back th dashing hero to save his scandle mistake.

He could perhaps lure Ben in under the guise of wanting to cure him, into the chamber. Alicia begs Ben not to go because there was something in his voice that spoke of something else he had planned, "You wouldn't have to change for me Ben...I'm not like Stacy!!"

But he leaves and arrives at Damme industries anyway. Gets in the chamber, which then drains him, (killing him). Then lie to Reed when he comes, saying:

"if you'll go in with him, and loose some of your own, you might save him...I cant stop the machine once its started...."


Johnny, who's had a suspicion helps break Ben and Reed out, and they both rush to rescue Susan who's looking for Dame when she finds out what Barda did about the ships true purpose. Ben has just enough engery in him to change from Ben Back into the Thing (Just becasue i liked how at some point in the comics he was able to change from human form to the THING at will, and i think it would be cool personally.)

By this time he's tricked out his suit

(The Doctor Doom Suit, which he even augmented with a cape and hood from latveria for show)

The 3 of the fantastic four rush in time to save Susan and together in the middle of his nucular base have a huge battle with him.

He has power blasts likened to electric currents, but are much higher in voltage, as well as the ablity to fly from the energy stored in.

With Nucular materials in the plant being so near this energy, who knows what the after affect will be if they met and exploded? Doom doesnt know or care, simply that he knows his suit will be strong enoug th protect him, even the Thing can only HURT him.

Reed determins mid fight that its as if Doom is INSIDE a huge battery, and if he can figure this plan right, he can make that battery blow up if he makes the suit release its energy internaly instead of externaly out at them. He positions the ommiter used in dooms test to be ready for his next attack and rearange its function so it'll command the metal to release the engergy on the inside rather then out. When he plays this out, it releases a cosmic explosion inside the suit that is blinding, nad when the blasat clears, all thats left is the Vibranium portions of the suit. The Titanium alloy parts, AND HIM are gone...

What happened to doom? Was he incinerated? Or was he simply transported to the "Negative zone" where the cloud dissapeared to?
Either way he was gone, and the city was safe.

ALica and ben become a couple, and she gets the whole deal:Guy she loves, she loves him for him, and he can morph to and from the Thing. (as a possiblity)

Reed and Susan are more in love now and start the buisness he would have started anyway had he gone off years ago, which to say the less is more like a super hero buisness as well as invention making. And Johnny of course is johnny Storm.

They are NY's Fantastic Four, now to brand them as not just New Yorks Space family, but their super hero one.

The credits go up and we see a scene in the middle of somewhere off the coast of...germany...maybe even latveria. Some shippers find a scorched up body in an half metalic suit on board. When they revive him, all he can say is..."(the latin words for I wish i was home..I wish I was home).

(The blast telaported him where he wanted to go like a worm hole. but left him scared fo the next movie)

So we have our Dr. Doom without electro's powers like he's SUPPOSED to be.

NOW for the cast...

I'd always imagined Patrick Willson as the Dr. Richards of the Fantastic Four, not the stick up his butt, anal beyond belief type, but also no the (not really Reed) Reed Richards of the first. More like a grown up and more responsible version of the ultimate one.
