Noah Hawley [Notable Works {As Series Writer}: Bones, Fargo, The Unusuals]: He wrote all the Episodes of Fargo, it was a tremendous task for him, but he was challenged with catching the tone of the film and adapting it. He would certainly capture the best of the Spirit's tones and really format them well for T.V. And if does things the way he Did Fargo it would be advantageous to both fans and the ratings.

Andrew Kreisberg [Notable Works: Arrow, The Flash, Warehouse 13]: Andrew is deeply devoted to DC and has done something wonderful for their properties. He would be a great addition to the Spirit and could really help his Filmography.
Geoff Johns [Notable Works {As A Producer}: Arrow, The Flash, Blade The Series]: I've said it before and I'll say it again, Geoff Johns should be the Kevin Feige of the DC Universe. And with a Project like the Spirit it would really show for him.
David Nutter [Notable Works {As A Producer}: Arrow {Multiple Episodes}, Smallville {1 Episode}, The X-Files {Multiple Episodes}]: I like David, he does wonderful work directing pilots. He does a great job as a Producer and would be yet another welcome hand on the Spirit.
Detective Denny Colts/The Spirit [Height: 6' 2" {Estimated}, Age: 30' s-40's]: While fighting the evil Dr. Cobra, young policeman Denny Colt was hit by a liquid which put him in a state of a deep coma. Believed dead, Denny was buried at Wildwood Cemetery, but awoke from his grave 24-hours later. He established a base under his tombstone and using his new-found anonymity, he began to fight crime and protect the people of Central City as The Spirit. His identity is known only to his "driver," Ebony White and Police Commissioner Dolan.
Matt Bomer [Height: 6' 0", Age: 36, Notable Works: White Collar, Chuck, In Time]: Matt is a wonderful Actor. A true gentlemen, and while his Sexual orientation might distract people, they need to calm down, he plays a heterosexual character with all the charm in the world. So don't bring up his taste, it has nothing to do with his performance. He would be an absolutely perfect Spirit.
Dr. Ellen Dolan [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: The Daughter of Commissioner Dolan and the main Love-Interest to the Spirit.
Allison Mack [Height: 5' 5", Age: 31, Notable Works: Smallville, The Ant Bully, Wilfred]: Allison Mack is a wonderful series. She's got a real sense of lovability and honesty that makes her the perfect choice for Ellen.
Commissioner Eustace P. Dolan [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: Eustace Dolan is the Police Commissioner in Central City when the Spirit becomes a known vigilante in the city. He ends up having a very close bond with the hero even after the Spirit admits to a murder he didn't commit. The Spirit admits to the crime for fear Dolan would resign if he didn't. Even after the the Spirit becomes a criminal, Commissioner Dolan still has great feelings for his friend and great respect for him but he is committed to his job.
Jeffrey DeMunn [Height: 5' 9", Age: 67, Notable Works: Mob City, Walking Dead, The Mist]: Who Doesn't like Jeff as an actor. He does such wonderful performances in everything he does. He's a strong actor and such a fun person to see perform. He would be an absolutely amazing choice.
Ebony White [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: Ebony became The Spirit's first and most loyal partner. He was a taxi driver that encountered Denny Colt's alter ego while driving Ellen Dolan and Homer Creep past Wildwood Cemetery. Ebony was an intelligent person but spoke with a heavy accent that later caused controversy over racial stereotypes (Will Eisner was always deeply found of the character).
Adrian Kali Turner [Height: 4' 9" Age: 17, Notable Works: Walking Dead, Bad Teacher, My Name is Khan]: Adrian has really done wonderful work as an actor and really needs a breakout role, which I think this would be an absolute break out star!
John Law [Height: 6' 0", Age: 30's]: John Law is a detective that was created by Will Eisner in 1948.
Jon Bernthal [Height: 5' 10", Age: 37, Notable Works: Walking Dead, Mob City, Snitch]: John Law, another Will Eisner character - Was inspired to me to put in when I saw the relatively small Supporting cast. I found the character interesting and wanted to put him in here. Jon Bernthal is a wonderful actor and does bare a wonderful resemblance to the character. He would do a wonderful job in the role.

P'Gell [Height: 5' 7" {Estimated}, Age: 30's]:One of The Spirit's most recurrent and famous foes. A French femme fatale and a black widow who has married several times.
Gabrielle Anwar [Height: 5' 3", Age: 44, Notable Works: Burn Notice, Scent of a Woman, Body Snatchers]: Gabrielle is such a wonderful creature. She's so beautiful and talented that I couldn't help it. She's a strong actress and would be such a beautiful P'Gell.

Sand Saref [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]:Sand Saref and Denny Colt grew up together. Sand's father was an honest cop. Denny lived with his uncle who was a patsy for the crooks in the neighborhood. When Sand's father was killed because of a bad decision made by Denny's uncle, Sand refused to talk to him. She ended up in foster care. Sand's life became rough. She began to hate cops. She felt that if her father wasn't an officer, he'd still be alive. She was arrested for armed robbery a few times and ended up serving some jail time. Denny tried being there for her but she told him she hated him. Despite some of her shady decisions on the other side of the law, Sand never revealed The Spirit's identity. This in itself reveals that perhaps Sand's character can be saved. They continued coming in and out of each others' lives, both knowing they could never return to what they once had despite how much they still felt for each other.
Alexa Davalos [Height: 5' 8", Age: 32, Notable Works: Angel {T.V. Series Seasons 2002-2003 Episodes: Ground State, Long Day's Running, Players}, The Chronicles of Riddick, Defiance]: Alexa is one of my favorite actresses. She is so beautiful and wonderful. I had to cast her as Sand. She is has such a lovely woman that would capture the essence of the role.

Dr. Cobra [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: Dr. Cobra was wanted by the police. It was Denny Colt who decided he'd bring him in to collect the reward. In Dr. Cobra's hideout, when Denny Colt arrived, Cobra was in the middle of another one of his experiments. As Denny talks to Dr. Cobra, his henchman attacks him. Denny's gun accidentally goes off and fires into a tank filled with chemicals. The chemicals hit him smack in the face. Dr. Cobra drags out his henchman and escapes. When Dolan and some backup arrive, they find Denny's lifeless body crumpled on the floor. He is brought to the coroner who pronounces him dead. With his body already stiff and he assumes it's from rigor mortis. Denny Colt comes to a few hours later and escapes his grave. It seems the chemicals placed him in a state of suspended animation. Denny decided to remain "dead" and fight crime as The Spirit.
Bryan Cranston [Height: 5' 11", Age: 58, Notable Works: Breaking Bad, Godzilla, Malcolm in the Middle]: Heisenberg is a popular character that Bryan may never get out from. But while he's trapped he could always play a fun and energetic mad scientist that works with the Octopus. Bryan is always fun and dynamic in his roles that he would be perfect for this role.
Dusk [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: A crook and mob boss always trying to beat the Spirit.
Robert Knepper [Height: 5' 10", Age: 55, Notable Works: Prison Break, Arrow, Transporter 3]: He oddly looks similar to the character, and he's such a strong actor that this would really be a perfect choice. I think this would be a very serious and fun role for him.
Silken Floss [Height: 5' 7" {Estimated}, Age: 30's]: When Silken Floss appeared in the Spirit, she was a surgeon and nuclear physicist. A femme fatal secretary and accomplice to the Octopus.
Rachel McAdams [Height: 5' 4", Age: 35, Notable Works: The Notebook, The Vow, Sherlock Holmes]: She is such a beautiful actress. She's lovely and immensely talented. I think she would be perfect for the role of Silken Floss.
The Octopus [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: Archenemy to the Spirit. His appearance is vague as only his eyes and gloves are seen. He was always depicted wearing a pair of purple gloves with three stripes. Whenever the Octopus appeared in a story, he was either off-panel (except for his gloves) or hiding behind some object (like curtains or another person). Another way the Octopus kept his face hidden was the fact that he was a master of disguise. For any Physical appearances I would give the Octopus a mask to disguise his face, maybe a mask with an actual Octopus on it. His characterization would be influenced by David Carridine's Performance in Kill Bill Vol. 1
Billy Bob Thornton [Height: 6' 0", Age: 58, Notable Works: Fargo, Sling Blade, Tombstone]: His work as Lorne Malvo in Fargo, it was beautiful it was as close to art as acting could be in a television series. He took on so many different faces and so many other mannerisms. He would be such a perfect and iconic Octopus that he would be very well done and erase the memory of the very fun and campy Sam Jackson Octopus.
