Speaking with Collider at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month, Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo discuss the highly anticipated Marvel Studios sequel. They offer an update on the editing process ("we're editing a lot"), and comment on creating Stan "The Man" Lee's cameo as well as approaching the characters and what cameras they used during production. The directing duo also talk about how the movie fits in the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, praising president Kevin Feige and his approach. Finally, the Russos discuss the process of forming post-credits scene for The Winter Soldier (as is common with Marvel films), saying that they're going over ideas and that "there might be something that we want to bump for" when Joss Whedon's final script for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is turned in. Watch the full video interview below, and stay tuned to CBM for more news on the highly anticipated sequel.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Robert Redford, Cobie Smulders and Emily VanCamp. The film is set to hit theaters April 4th, 2014.

Between this and GOTG, I think 2014 is gonna be great. It'll be exciting to see how DOFP and ASM2 turn out as well.

I reckon the PCS will involve either S.H.I.E.L.D. making Ultron OR revealing Alexander Pierce to be Aleksander Lukin (The guy who has Red Skull's conscience in his mind)

It's funny how people were dissing, and slamming the hell out the Russo Bros. at first and now....(Which I do understand to a degree why people would be concerned) but look, Feige & Marvel REALLY wanted these guys for a reason and now people are starting see why. Needless to say, sometimes you just need to wait and see why things are the way they before you prejudge.

Out of all of the MS studio movies CA:TFA had THE most heart. I'm more pumped for this movie than any other MS studios on the slate. Still in all, we will see how it turns out, I'm thinking and hoping it'll be THE best to date of what MS has of the solo films.

@ninjacarm You need to respect Stan the Man, without whom there would be no Marvel movies to bitch about.

"Michael Bay, everyone loves your films. They're known for their huge FX shots. But how do you differentiate between the action pieces and the character pieces?"

"I don't understand the question."

"Well, you know, some scenes are big FX heavy explosion scenes and others are the quieter character moments."

"You mean like scenes with smaller explosions?"

I thought this year was going to be CBM heaven but i've been rather let down by the big two. Hopefully KIck ass and Thor can save it. But i'm realizing next year will be what is really exciting. Cap two could be the best of the main characters so far, and frankly GOTG could be the new star wars the way its shaping up.

Also i hate stan lee being in every movie.
